A local mom and pop where the food isn't too bad (and I would give it 3.5 stars for food) and I'd eat here again......if I had 24 hours to wait and a TV series I needed to catch up on.. You are going to wait a minimum of 50mins when they are not busy to get anything, including ordering. They have been here 111 years and they will take that long to get your food to you. Even if you order ahead, they will wait for you to show up to make it. Ok, but if you only have 2 hours for lunch, you will be leaving when your food arrives. If you are over 70 and you are uncomfortable using a cell phone, driving after dark, and have all afternoon to spend ....this is the place for you.

I absolutely love this place. They sure do know how to make a sandwich. The owners are very friendly. The restaurant is clean too.

This is the best sandwich shop in the whole Tri-Cities. They out do Jimmy John's.. Subway. They are fresh and reasonably priced. Where Jimmy John's and Subway are all about profit. Stone soup is a family ran establishment and the soups are home made. Not in a tub. You will find friendly service and feel like family when you arrive. Remember to support local businesses. If they made it through this covid epidemic.. they are tough and sturdy businesses. If your stopping by Howard Amon Park stop by STONE SOUP and enjoy the best food in town. All their food comes with a scrumptious cookie too!

I like a good sandwich and this chicken salad sandwich has been on my mind since I ate it 3 long weeks ago 🤔💭🥪 I’ve made up my mind, I’m going back this week for another!

Just a heads up, you're not directly asking a business through the Google Maps app when you put a question here. That being said, they have 3 sandwiches in their 'Warm and Toasty" menu that sport pastrami. The New Yorker, the Ruben, and the Pastrami. And Friday is chowder day, yes. Both "corn" and' Ivars" chowders are soups of the day for Friday. You can also order online. Cheers
Their chicken enchilada is very popular I suggest you give it a try
