Definitely a great place to camp if you’re visiting the Great Sand Dunes. There is a small fee. The bathrooms were locked when we were here May 2021.

Spots are far apart, very expansive views. Zero natural cover, though the awning over the picnic tables is a nice touch.

Great camping if you can get a spot. Nice covered picnic table with fire pit. Pit toilets were a little too far spread out but clean.

This cg used to be in the state park system now it is managed by a different department. Usually there is a host or self pay box. We were there 3 months ago and there was neither, so 3 days of free camping.
If you have a colorado hunting or fishing license, it is free. Have electric hook up, also free, but no water or public toilets. Lots of bugs, mosquitoes if the wind isn't blowing. Scenery is beautiful
Mosca is first come first serve.
I was there last June for two nights. There were a few people, but still a lot of spaces left!
