One Mile Campground

This is a well-run and very scenic campground. The host, Doug, was exceptionally helpful and knowledgeable about the area. He and his wife are great hosts. We're certainly glad we found it! Our small kids loved the aspen and sage-lined paths from the site to bathroom facility.

Loved our spot here. Long thin campground along the road with the river on the other side. Very friendly camp hosts and we'll maintained facilities. No water when we were there, hope that gets fixed soon.

Great National Forest campground. Several sites with with electric hook a few with full hook up. 25 camp sites in total with the last one just before the turn around. Camped here two years in a row and will continue coming back. About 30 min to Crested Butte.

Sites are well spaced, private, w/ electricity, and $24 a night. We loved site 25 and the incredibly friendly camp hosts, Charlie and Dawna. We stayed extra days just because of the excellent environment they created. There are lots of campgrounds along the river but stay here!
