Clean, beautiful view from spot 10. I would say that this is one of the smaller campgrounds in the area and less space. People were respectful of quiet hours. Minutes away from hiking, wild flower viewing, a few geocaches, and fishing!

I wish I could give Aspen more than 5 stars. Not only is it one of the most beautiful campgrounds I’ve ever stayed at. But when we’re going to leave we had an electrical problem with our RV. The owner not only looked at it for us he actually found the problem and was able to fix it for us. He didn’t have to do this for us. He could have just told us were to take it. He saved our trip!!! He wouldn’t even take any money from us for all the time he spent with us. I can’t recommend this this campground enough. Thanks again Aspen

Very spacious campground which allows for a variety of size tents. Lots of biting horse flies and mosquitoes so be prepared for that. The weekend we went, they were banning campfires so it really diminished our camping experience, but that is not the fault of the campground. Be aware that this campground (Aspen) is not directly on a river but is nearby within walking distance of a river. Checkout time was at 2 p.m. which was nice to have that extra time in the morning to get your campsite broken down.
