The adult pool is for adults, every time we go we have to deal with a TON of kids in the pool. The jacuzzi has been broken for over a year now. The cabins sheets are sometimes left unwashed. I mean do you want to smells a strangers scent on your pillow??? I use to LOVE Pio Pico. I boasted to my friends and this is what they endured. It was embarrassing So, pio pico now feels GHETTO.. :(

Had me driving around in my Class A RV looking for a site for 20 minutes. No available site. Didn't assign a site, says it's first come to get a site. I parked across the street at their lot and was at the ranger station at 8 the next morning to get a lot number. I walked to my lot still occupied and posted my name and lot on a pedestal. Check out time is noon so I wouldn't even bother to move until noon. It was a little disturbing to see US Border Patrol in the park. Made some great friends. No cell service even after I purchased wifi for a week. I would go back to meet my friends.

Horrible. No hook ups for sewer. No cell service. Sent to the Northside of camp with no amenities, this information is not disclosed during reservations. Not friendly, Rangers were very rude and unaccommadating. Had to find another RV park during the holiday weekend to accommodate basic needs.

Friendly staff. Two pools. Best for RVs not tent camping. At night in a tent it was too loud. We enjoyed the games at the activity center. Next time, I would choose a cabin, it was chilly at night.

Yes, there is an offroad trail called the Otay mountain truck trail. I see quads running through it all the time.
Not sure about the price , but the Park is open to the public or at least some of the sites .
Yes I stayed there a few weeks ago. There are showers and proper toilets. All very clean. There are showers and toilets by the pool also. Very nice campsite
No it's safe. We had no problems with leaving anything out
Checking usually 4pm for cabins
The camp ground has two separate areas. One very acceptablee and one acceptable. Many have grills. You can ask for a portable grill delivered to your site.
Yes the big pool is heated to a nice temperature. It's not too hot or too cool. There is also a nice hot tub. But stay away from the little pool. It is freezing.
Nothing but good times at pio pico haven't had any bad experience there we go there to camp and also to park our truck to hit the trails in the mountains and the staff is so even lets us park our truck and trailer at designated parking areas.
Not on the ground but you can bring your own fire pit and usd that.
YES we now have some horse corrals on the Northside of the campground Dec. 2020
The pool is open as of nov. 2020 just limit on capacity see rangers for details
No more crossover first come first served as of Oct. 2020
You have to sign in to the passover to get a spot. Check in on the north side first.
Never seen dog restrictions all breeds here. Must be on leash, 2 dog runs available. If your rig is a non camping vehicle might be a problem....they dont allow buses anymore
This is a membership park. Thousand Trails. No cost depending on membership level.
Thousandtrails.com or the membership office on-site
No you don't need a membership but the name of the club is Thousand Trails
Depending on which membership you get up to three weeks park to park.they also will rent by the month see the manager.
Last time it was 45.00 per night for nonmember Call the 800 # for details
Sorry, and the number for the ranger station is? 800 # is busy Thanks..are you a TT member? I used to camp with 2 Bassett Hounds!
You'll need to call them!
Yes as long as they are on a leash and quiet
The rates are determined through a Thousand Trails membership that you have to sign up for prior to staying there. They have different levels of membership, with the cheapest being $500 for a year. After the initial $500, you can stay for free for one year, but only for two weeks at a time.
Dave quoted us higher prices and wasnt very nice..if you call or go online and chat prices are lower and more flexible As of safety they have 24hr patrol who actually do patrol through the night and if you call they get to you very quickly as in with my own experiences. I like this place and my kids and i enjoy going there and have great experiences each time amd cant wait to visit all the locations they have
A 10 by 20 will fit. However we no longer feel safe at Pio Pico in our motorhome. I definitely wouldn't stay there in a tent.
