Very nice place to camp but the rules are ridiculous. No music aloud at all unless you can play it on a instrument. Even if you play your music low on your phone they tell you to turn it off. The reason why this is ridiculous is because all the rv’s have their generator running all day and late at night. Let’s not forget the highway is right next to the campsite so all you hear all day is cars driving and exhausts on the cars.

Campground is nice, and the bathrooms are clean. The hosts came by and gave all the rules. Then they didn’t enforce ANY of the rules. People near us were talking loudly and laughing at 2:00 AM with lanterns on. More than one group. Not trying to be dud, but a public campground isn’t a great choice to go party at.

Nice peaceful Campground .very well kept, the bathrooms look amazing, the showers are free -but temperamental you're either getting scolded or frozen (push button type)... lol !!! Camp hosts are pretty friendly ,but you must strictly follow the rules. which I don't mind ,I'm a rule follower !!! Lot's of wild life there- that was my favorite part. But double check you spot you reserve online.we picked ours so we would have a lil shade.but when we got there all 3 trees in our spot were cut down and we had no shade at all ,the whole time so we fried the whole time we were there...so do not reserve spot #24 you will be miserable from sun up to sun down.

We had an amazing four days at Barton flats. The hiking trails were immediately nearby. The facilities are very clean and no need for coins to shower as some other camp sites we've been to. Eric was an amazing host when we got to the site on our first night. He went through the rules of the camp ground and made us feel at ease Grounds keepers were always present. We were fortunate that not a lot of people were there and enjoyed nature with family. I highly recommend this clean camp ground. The night sky is just an awesome sight in the mountains.

They do have bear boxes we did tent camping.
No
No there was a lake for fishing water didn't look good to swim tho
Yes they offer the senior discount
Just the main bathroom near the entrance has showers. The smaller bathrooms do not.
Depending on the length of the site, it should. It will be tight if you have slides.
We were just there this past Friday the 1st of October 2021. Every spot was reserved except for about 2-3 open spots per loop. There's 2 loops in Barton Flats. One loop to the right just as you pull in has more private spots and more trees to separate you from the other campers. The one to the left as you pull in is much more open, less trees and your right next to your fellow campers. We chose the one to the right, spot 7 and had a great location. They also have actual toilets and hot showers. The hosts are a husband and wife team who are absolutely fantastic and will make you feel right at home. Definitely get there before 12 to pick up an open spot. Checkout is at noon so just before then is a great time.
I have t-mobile and was able to get service.
As far as I can tell they aren't available. I imagine because of the pandemic.
I am not sure we went in a tent.
You have to make reservations on recreation.gov
It really depends on the site the larger ones usually have hae room for a trailer and two cars. The campground attended is really easy going they might not care if you squeeze in a third vehicle as long as it remains on the asphalt an not the dirt. Your last option would be to have park on the side of the highway at which point you will need a wilderness pass to park overnight. Hope this helps
Pretty sure Jenks is 2 Mile hole even though the lake is probably less than a mile away. Short drive to Jenks. Big Bear is about a half hour
6am to 10pm
It depends on the site. Some will hold 40 ft
Yes the trailer needs to stay on paved area and tents on rest of campsite
Angeous oaks, not always open, 6 miles
It stopped for today, possibly more Wednesday and Thursday
There is a jenks lake trail that is a 45 minute uphill hike, and 30 minutes downhill hike
check in 3pm , check out noon
Yes
They were in the fire pit for us. Can't recall size of the grill but we feed 5 adults
There's no where to use it. Best to leave it home. And it's not allowed.
They recommend that you buy where you burn, but yes you can.
They take reservations but also first come first serve on open/ available sites
It is open yr round I think
