Went to the Mystic Aquarium and had a wonderful visit. Very educational and many interesting sea creatures to view and learn about. Many exhibits one can touch the animals, the visiting children were all ecstatic while learning about ocean life and conservation. A big shout out to the food prep there, I had a BLT that was really amazing! I highly recommend a trip to the Aquarium, quite fun.

It's smaller than the aquariums I'm used to going to, but it's amazing nonetheless. The beluga whales they have are absolutely adorable and I can look at them all day. Definitely recommend the sea lion show as well--educating and fun. Tons of interactive stuff, such as touching manta/sting rays and small sharks. There's also virtual reality in which my family got to explore tiger sharks in with scuba divers. Would love to go again.

I in New York but I met my college buddy and my Godson there because they live nearby. I had always wanted to visit this aquarium and I'm glad that I chose today. The weather was gorgeous and the Aquarium was super fun. Additionally, ALL of the staff were very polite, helpful and friendly. I definitely recommend a visit !!!

Visited on 3-13-22. Small indoor aquarium with larger outside. It’s very very cold outside dress warmly! We have visited Aquariums all over the US. Loved it here. Very friendly staff. Thought tickets were pricy but part of proceeds go back to feeding animals so was happy about it that. Will be visiting again! Make sure you see the sea otter show! It’s phenomena!

If it's true .. it's free you have to bring your ebt card and ID .. four people get in free with you and after 4 they are worth only 5.00 dollars
We certainly understand your sentiments regarding this program. We wish that we could provide free access to everyone in Connecticut and New England so that all might have the benefit of engaging with marine life. Unfortunately there is no perfect way to achieve this, and sometimes efforts such as free access to EBT card holders can be perceived as unfair to people like you who are paying for the experience. Please know that our intentions are good as we know that visiting an aquarium or museum has a positive impact on student learning and that free access may be the only way that many families with children may be able to do so. Additionally, we are incredibly grateful to the men and women who served and continue to do so today, we offer free access to active military and veterans a number of time during the year including this week (link to promo) We also have special military promotions during Veterans Day week, Memorial Day and the whole month of July.

Effective immediately and running through the end of next year, December 31, 2018, Connecticut SNAP EBT card holders will simply show their EBT card and valid, matching personal identification to receive free admission for themselves and up to four (4) guests. Additionally, card holders may purchase tickets for $5 each for up to three (3) additional guests in their party at the time of the visit. All children in the party under the age of five (5) will be admitted free of charge.
Yea, but some of the outdoor exhibits will be closed. Penguins, whales, and seals will still be there

Yes it is. The person using their EBT card needs to have a valid ID. Then that person and 3 others can get in for just $5.00 each.
