There should be discount days or hours for the general public.
This is considered educational, which is why they try to grant free admission to those who couldn't afford it otherwise. It greatly helps their children academically. Children need a foundation of things in the world (animals, culture, landforms, weather, etc.) Which some children just don't have. It is absolutely a great thing to do for the economically disadvantaged.
CONNECTICUT SNAP EBT CARD HOLDERS Running now through December 31, 2018, Connecticut SNAP EBT card holders can simply show their EBT card and a valid matching personal identification to receive free admission for themselves and up to four guests. Additionally, card holders may purchase tickets for $5 each for up to three additional guests in their party at the time of the visit. All children in the party under the age of five will be admitted free of charge. This program is not subsidized by the state.
Its good for any day general admission, just not for the xtra shows , its good to up to 4 people , you must show your ID with it and only CT EBT
Yes. There are no day or time restrictions. Just show your ebt card and photo id. Mist be same name as card.
Bravo it will be an awesome time thank you for letting us take a family trip
Too bad they don't offer some discount program for other state's EBT holders. These are the kids and families that NEED positive environments to learn in.
Not if you're from MA...only CT and RI 😠They apparently don't want ALL families to enjoy.
Yes, mist is right, it is good on all days. All you mist show is your EBT card and photo ID, and yes your name Mist be on the same card as your ID.
Okay so I have read all comments and most of them are misleading. Yes you can bring your EBT and ID, for CT or Rhode Island. Not just CT. You will be allowed admission for up to 3 guests with your EBT, NOT 4. And it is generally admission for children if you read the fine lines. You can pay 5$ per additional tickets for up to 4 people. You cannot get entry on special event days just general admission days. So a regular day with not much going on at the aquarium, the down side to this is, they are always hosting special events. So it’s a bit of a dancing game as to when you will be able to get in for free with your EBT. Just remember when you are getting in for free that cost them money. So donate to them even if it’s 5$ don’t be cheap and go in just for free make a contribution to our wonderful ocean life and the ppl that are trying to protect and Conserve our wonderful blue planet. So honestly if you are going just for the free entry I wouldn’t go at all, don’t waste there time.
