Fun place to visit with your family once. I had a great experience. Our guide was extremely funny and kept the whole tour very engaging. There's a really nice gift shop as well.

The place is very interesting! Mind boggling for sure. It’s all about questioning the perception of reality we have. Our guide was excellent, really funny and witty. There’s also a short trail to round up the visit. And the road to get there is gorgeous too so it was a perfect day! Only one suggestion: they need to improve the purchase of tickets! I bought the tickets online, but there is no option to print or download the tickets! So we still had to wait a long line to actually get the paper tickets!!! It’s silly!!!

Tour guide makes a TON of difference, since there are no self tour, the people that run this had to think of a creative way to make this from a meh experience to a wonderful and interesting one. Their script is spot on and their ability to get the audience involved is great, from getting you warmed up to comfortable in participating. Only thing is if they can reduce the party size so everyone can truly experience the “spot” and get to take photos too. I still give it a 5 star just for the humor and creativity of the whole program,

Came here with the family. This place is really interesting and cool. There are many weird things here that defy logic. Our your guide was fun and informative. There is an extremely steep walk up to the cabin, so beware. The only reason I did not rate 5 stars is that I think they allow too many people in each group, which makes the cabin quite crowded to try out the features and to wait longer to get photos of those in your party. Prices were good for the value received.

Open Daily but closing hours may change depend on demands especially during spring, summer and winter breaks. Visited this place on April 2018, a great place to experience and explore. About 30 minutes tour be sure to ask for Miss Anna as your guide as she has possess passion, knowledge and care guests safety. End of the tour remember to tip generously.
Yes..it's worth going... 8 $ per adult plus 5 $ parking fee..
It's very mysterious that's for sure.
Online reservation is highly recommended. Otherwise you either have to wait at the site for hours or can't get in for the same day tour at all, especially during weekends and holidays. $5 per vehicle and $8 per visitor. Free admission for 3 and under. Cash and check ONLY if you buy tickets on site. Credit and debit for online purchase only.
No worries. Bathrooms are clean & outside of the radius of the "mysterious" effects, so things should all come out normally, lol.
Yes you can bring your dog but I don't think that the dog will enjoy it as much as you. I brought my dog Chunky and he was a bit confused because of the powers of the spot 🙂
There are 16 people per group who can pass together
Yes, i advise you to go and purchase your tx at the door. You are allowed to.
Yes, the building itself is not level.
You don't have to reserve but I recommend it because people were waiting hours for a tour that didn't reserve.
$5 to park and I think its $8 to do the tour Check online to see if you can buy your tickets
It's always best to make sure if you need a reservation if your group is big, it cost around $8 per person but you'll enjoy it without a doubt
It's fun to do the tour. Wonderful probably not the word I would use.
Go on a good day not rainy it would be better for you I promise
8:00p.m
Because of time-space dialation, its an effect of the reversal of atomic dipoles
Nice drive. Beautiful scenery.
There is camping 10mins to 20mins away. Henry Cowell if you want to be amongst the redwoods in the mountains, New Brighton Beach and Campgrounds or Seacliff if you want to be near the beach.
It is wheelchair accessible up to and down from the shack. It is not wheelchair friendly, it is extremely steep and probably not recommended.
Yes it's true, but it is a awesome experience
It should be 10:20 am is the first schedule, check there website
I don't know if The Mystery Spot itself would be worth a 6 hour drive. But I know that The Santa Cruz Boardwalk is also there. So if you want you can go to both places. The Boardwalk Rides are closed but the beach isn't and the Boardwalk also has food that you may want to try, if every store is open as well? If you want, you can check my Instagram @Exurbus to see the very few pictures I took 3 days ago of both places.
No.....plus the group tour makes it fun!!!
7 days a week including holidays but due to fires you will need to contact them directly.
It would be a good idea to check, since no gatherings are being allowed at this time pretty much anywhere.
30-45 minutes maybe more depending on traffic
I believe it is. Enjoy it's great place.
You need to book in advance . And they do only tours. You cant go on your own.
8 dollars each, plus 5 dollars for parking. Beware very bumpy entrance.
Admission was $8 for 1 adult parking there. They charge one price for parking and each person going on the tour of the cabin is charged it's either $3 or $5 per person.
Yes... There is no mobile network coverage too
No. The width and height plus the maneuvering around a couple of trees when your entering would not work and I honestly think it would even be Dangerous to try in a RV.
36 h (2,435.1 mi)
Yes, there is a large circle on a hill where gravity, magnetic fields, and the general laws of physics do not work the way we would expect them to.
It is 8$ per person, I recommend going to their website and reserve your spot first before you go and then later when you check in at mystery spot you have to pay 5$ parking fee per car, cash or card.
A two year old may not enjoy this type of experience, but there is nothing that would scare them. It's a bit disorienting at times and if you were carrying them at times, you may lose your equilibrium. Sö, you could do the seperate hiking trail, but The spOt may be more challenging. Not saying it couldn't be done.
Not allow in the actual park or tour but there is a trail off to the side of the mountain where they are allowed.
Should be open, since it's Easter Sunday you should call and check.
I visited as a quick stop between traveling from Santa Cruz to San Francisco. It was definitely worth it. However, I got very nauseous and dizzy even though I have never had motion sickness before. I even spent a lot of time with my eyes closed to let my body feel gravity vs optical illusion. Weird.
It's 8$ per person and for kids under 3 it's free. They charge an additional 5$ for parking.
$8. Definitely pre-order your tour. Ours was at 12:30pm on a Saturday and people were being told the next available tour was at 7pm.
There isn't any gravitational anomaly, it's a visual illusion. You can read article on Wikipedia
May not be. Online listing does not show tickets availability for December 25th
I am pretty sure I saw a sign saying they were open 365 days a year.
Yes, this place is for tourist. So you can visit it during working hours. And about reserving, I don't think you can do it except you are visiting from school or any such educational institution.
No it is not
I dont think there is any public transportation that goes till Mystery spot. You might have to take public transportation till Santa Cruz board walk or bike to mystery spot. But there is no mobile signals around mystery spot to load google maps so try downloading it before hand.
Yes and no. Dogs can be in the garden area & parking lot. But they are not permitted in the tour area.
It is an illusion based on disorienting your perception of perspective and slopes.
I feel it's about the optical illusion, but no one knows about it, hence it's a mystery spot
$8 per ticket and $5 for parking. Online booking can be done to make sure the time slot
As you climb up, the surface is inclined and one is not stable. You may also feel giddy hence better to keep the pregnant lady away
I don't believe they let the animals on the trail to the Mystery Spot but they do allow them initial rounding area like around the gift shops and stuff
You should be okay with respect to carrying the kid. I have seen people carry the toddlers in Kangaroo bag. When you go inside the house, you will get dizziness kind of feeling causing headache in some people. You may need to check that.
Wow! Did you make a reservation?
It is but not for the tour or the main part of your visit of the site. And like what others suggested one need to be on stable feet upon entering the house. One may not be able to experience the essence of the place if you don't do the tour. And that's all what's in there.
We left ours in the car with all windows cracked. tour is not more than 30 - 40 mins just go early so its not too warm out yet and it is was really shaded where we parked. Went mid January not sure when you re going so plan accordingly! Place is really cool spot!!
Some said it's a illusion, so said it's real, go see it yourself
It's a small area surrounded by forest. There are hiking trails nearby.
It is a spot in Santa Cruz, California where there are small anomalies. It is very interesting
That's the mystery!
Is not that the mystery there 😂 ??
I dont think its open anymore but it is not near the mystery spot. I know there is a santas village in lake arrowhead and lake forest
Book online ahead to avoid waiting, highly recommend to call or book online $8 per person and $5 for car parking
