My family is going to "The Wedding Singer" musical at Park Playhouse. It's sure to be a wonderful performance. The shows are free if you bring camp chairs it blankets and sit in the tiered area. The bathrooms have been renovated and are very clean. My family brings a cooler with drinks and sandwiches but there is a concession stand available for food and drink purchases.

Always a well run show. Glad to see some upgrades to the facility and promised repairs to the hillside seating area.

Always a nice experience no matter the program. I free seating is the way to go. You must get there an hour early to set up your chair. Some prefer earlier and bring food and beverages. There is also a concession stand with beverages and lite fare. There is paid seating and table seating that is also very reasonable. I just like to have my own comfy chair. You can also bring a blanket and just sit too.

" We got the beat" at the Park Playhouse is bar none the worst show I have every seen! After 30+ years at the New York State Threatre Institute I have never seen anything so completly absurd! The acting and singing was very good but the script came from a kindergarden student! the Playhouse leadership should consider resigning in disgrace!

There is the bleachers and if u get there early enough about 2 hrs prior u can put your blankets down over the steps to reserve your spot or chairs
When there's a storm like this usually they do. They do not do the show when there's a chance of rain. Just asked them now n they said yes. They will resume n try again for tomorrow they said.
The show start at 8pm but you may want to get there 15 minutes early if you buy tickets at the box office, and a little earlier if you would like to secure a good spot in the free seating place. Also you may want to plan some time for parking.
Yes!

Free seating can be claimed as of noon. We recommend arriving by 6pm to ensure good quality locations. However, please note, there are no Sunday performances of In the Heights in Washington Park. We perform Tuesday through Saturday.
Yes, there is parking available on the roads throughout the park, as well as surrounding streets. We do offer a $5 paid parking area nearby the venue at the Park entrance at the intersection of Madison Avenue and New Scotland Avenue.
