I hate to type this negative review but want to warn everyone when considering to move into this community. The office staff is very nice and accommodating when looking to lease an apartment but as soon as you sign the lease that has changed for us in our experience. First off the unit we originally signed for apparently had a pest issue which we didn’t hear about until a week prior to move in. Luckily they were honest to let us know in advance and were very generous in arranging us with a new unit for the same move in date. However, the experience thus far has been unpleasant. Upon arrival the service manager told us that there were known maintenance issues in the unit and that vendors would be coming in and out the first week to fix everything. After the walk through with the leasing agent it was quite clear all of the issues were there and they insisted it would be resolved. They were right about the issues but completely lied about vendors and maintenance coming to fix a single thing in the unit. I try to call and no one answers, I go in the office just to be told they’ll be emailing or contacting us and still nothing. It is a beautiful community and great location so I’m very disappointed to give such a bad review. Hopefully they see this and make it right but just want to warn those out there of my experience. Added a few photos but there are too many to capture

RED FLAGS! 🚩🚩🚩 False advertising regarding property amenities; I moved in here July 2020- was unable to do walk through, had to do everything virtual, and while doing virtual tour, was told, heated pool (upon request). Even though it didn't say it on their website as such but whatever. K. Cool. Heated pool definitely drew us into this place as we are avid swimmers. I can easily request it. No big deal. Flash forward- I have requested the pool to be turned on (since living here) at least 5 times and every time they failed to do so ruining every family vacation/gathering as we would have loved to use the amenities we pay for and they have told us they provided. The other day, I made one last ditch effort to request the heater be turned on. I sent an email to the office regarding this matter with a screenshot of their own website stating that they offer a heated pool and we pay for a heated pool so please turn it on as I have family visiting again.. I have yet to receive any response. The only thing they have done is REMOVE the wording on their website "heated pool, to resort style pool", even though they are still advertising in the blurb above that they still offer "sparkling heated resort style swimming pool". The office did respond to a different resident regarding this matter stating "unfortunately, there is not a way for us to adjust the temperature of the pool since it is no longer heated". There has never once been a mass email sent out regarding this change, as all residents should be made aware that they are no longer paying for this feature. Point trying to be made, absolutely don't trust anything they tell you regarding this complex. DOES NOT HAVE HEATED POOL! So many other issues to list but for me, lying to residents and not giving any f's about it...you guys should be warned before moving in, if you choose to do so. If you're okay with this type of communication between the office and yourself, which I am not, then this place will be just fine for you.

We had to have a place to stay while my husband went through cancer treatment at Moffitt for 6 weeks, we were charged over 4000. To stay in a unit with our cat. We had dealt with Celeste and she addressed concerns professionally. Being a cancer patient, we expected things to be very clean and thought that was what we were paying for. It was not clean at all! My husband also has a lung condition which forced us to go buy a air filtration system. The carpet was so bad that when I went to vacuum the vacuum cleaner was full and I called Celeste and she sent a new vacuum. When I vacuumed, it was as full as the one I called about! The carpet was literally falling apart! It was a horrible stay there. The upstairs people were always making noise all through the night as well. When we returned home, I then found our cat has mites in her ears! I'm still trying to deal with that issue! All in all, I cannot believe they would charge 4000 a month to stay in there for a cancer patient and less for someone going to Busch gardens! It's unbelievable!

I lived at The Lodge for 3 years and loved everything about it. The leasing staff are extremely helpful and the maintenance team are brilliant. The facilities were great (newly renovated dog park was definitely a favourite!) and I really miss walking around the lake. Thank you for providing a safe, clean and friendly place to live.

Depends on market rates at the time of renting, contact the leasing office.

There are no security officers but it is gated. The community feels very safe especially compared to other places in the neighborhood.
