I lived here for nearly 2 years and the place was fantastic as it was close to any thing you would want to do in St Louis. I like how there's a trail right next to it that leads directly to Shaw Park and other places. At the time I was paying for a 1bdr apartment, it was worth the money as it was one of the cheaper options in U-city while being spacious. The management was surprisingly helpful and timely for any maintenance. I found the staff to be reasonable to work with. If there's any issues with payments or the renewal costs, they're always down to talk about it. That was one of the things they asked me prior before I decided to move back to my home state. The few cons are the questionable parking lot design that makes it a tight squeeze and how dated the apartment can be relative to the price. By spending a bit more or considering on moving into the metro area, you could get a much updated apartment elsewhere.

We lived in this property for two years and we are moving out now. They raised our monthly rent by $150. This is PER month. Can you image that? $150 per month raise? After living for 2 years? After Mills bought this complex last year, the employees here change frequently. John left or was fired, Julie left or was fired, and Crissi left or was fired. Of course, it is a highly convenient place to live (no questions about that) but the raises might give you a heart attack. We survived by immediately deciding to move out.

Present management is not always easy to reach. I've tried contacting mills properties management Corp. With no success. Residents move in and out frequently. No incentives to keep tenured residents. People don't even know one another. This place could be a whole lot better.
