Levi’s Stadium Blue Lot

Nice option away from Levi's stadium proper. However, on this occasion, Red Hot Chili Peppers concert, it took over an hour to get out of the parking lot. Ridiculous! I assume that it was simply disorganized by whoever was responsible and it took them a while to get their act together. Once things finally started moving, it did not take too long to get out of the lot. But it sure was frustrating up until that point.

We parked in this lot as an overflow for a concert. It isn't paved & pretty dusty. The walk to Levi stadium wasn't too far. Getting to the lot & in was easy. Getting out was a nightmare!!! I had heard many bad stories about parking & access to games at Levi Stadium. Believe me, they are true! We left the concert as soon as it ended to get ahead of the crowd. Apparently others did too. When we got to the lot we found our car, but the gates to our road back to the hotel were closed. We got out of our parking spot then waited in the traffic line for almost 45 mins, barely moving 1 car length. Finally a few cars exited allowing me to cut through the lot getting closer to the exit. The exits were a cluster too. Only 1 exist gate for 100's of cars. Horrible setup. Once we got out of the lot, the police set up roadblocks to every street in the direction of our hotel. We were only 1 mile away, and 1 right turn would have gotten us back in 5 mins. Instead we got a great tour of the entire area at midnight, trying to find our way back, even with GPS. This is the most poorly planned setup I have ever experienced. I will never return to this stadium, for anything!
