We have had an easy transition moving into Laguna Clara. This has everything to do with the rental office staff. They made a trying time really easy and comfortable. They answered all of our questions and were very friendly while doing so! I wish I could have this kind of experience with everyone I do business with.

Edit: updating to 1 star stayed here for 3.5 years, all the pros mentioned earlier pretty much most of it stayed the same except the fountain lake was completely drained off taking away the scenic beauty and then it ended up looking more and more like a barren land. There was practically no maintenance of the common laundry, machines were constantly breaking down and it seemed like a dump out there. Management changed midway as well, and i don't really blame the leasing folks, they try their best in a lost cause situation. One of the main reasons i had to leave this place was the water cuts. Between August'20 to July'21 i believe we had water cuts 2-3 times every month for more than 3hrs average. There were days where the water cut was 10am to 4pm. Apparently water cuts were always there as per some older residents, its just that now that everyone was WFH is when we started noticing. Also they are going under redevelopment starting 2023 onwards so once that is done this rent is going up anyways. Plus moving out fees is a lot, they will make sure most of their deposit is recovered which i feel is pretty much standard across bay area apartments. One of the nicest places I have stayed. Quiet, calm, surrounded by trees and has a fountain lake on the backside which is really good. Reasonable rent and all facilities in the place. Load of parking space, maintenance is really quick and office personnel especially Alma Andrade is very sweet and approachable.

This is by far the worst place I have ever lived. Do not apply to live here. I am warning you from the bottom of my heart. Here is a list of all of the negative things which have happened since I moved in a year ago: - The water has been out multiple days out of the week for many months. Imagine waking up and not being able to shower or even have a glass of water. The management has never even offered any sort of reimbursement or compensation for the water outages. - The laundry costs $1.75 for a wash and $1.75 for a dryer. The quality of the machines is low. They are always dirty with tons of hair and gunk. Its honestly disgusting. The fact that it costs $3.50 to do a full load is insulting. I already pay $2200 a month for this place. - The appliances, cabinets, carpet, etc, are all old and dirty. My fridge frequently shuts off. - The blinds are those low quality plastic slats that break easier than a toothpick. - There is no AC, so it gets incredibly hot in the summer. - Sometimes the laundry payment card machine dies, so you cant do laundry. The laundry is a third part company too, so the apartments don't even have control over this. - The walls are actually pretty thin. I can hear whenever any of my 4 neighbors opens their door. - The staff will harass you about re-signing leases. They called me everyday for 2 weeks even though I told them multiple times I was not interested. - The staff drive around on these golf carts and when they go in reverse it makes the loudest beeping sound that echoes through the whole complex. Its absurd--its almost like they want their residents to be annoyed. Please, please, please do not live here. This place needs to go out of business.

Recently moved in. The process was painless and the staff was responsive. This was especially important as my move was cross country. The grounds and amenities are well kept. The apartment was cleaned thoroughly prior to my move in. There was one minor issue (bathroom fan) that needed fixed. It was taken care of immediately and without issue. I recently moved out to move out-of-state and the move out process was very smooth and they were very fair. I was very happy with my stay there, they were always punctual in responding to my queries. I am overall very satisfied with my stay at Laguna Clara
