This has so far been the worst place I’ve lived at. The man who helped me get an apartment gossiped behind my back, the water has made my skin look and feel horrible. I’m paying $3000 to be woken up every morning at 8 am. I get off work at 3 am by the way. I had to tell josh just to get the construction workers to stop staring at me. They hit my walls so hard my pictures fall and break. They just want our money and don’t care about the actual health of the residents here. I don’t think they understand how severe it is. There’s dangerous chemicals from the painting I wish I had the masks the construction workers were wearing. And they left big gaps under our dishwasher and lower cabinets so it’s easy for spiders to get in :( also I agree with the other tenants that the water is cloudy. The water inside of my fridge was once black. I wish I could get out of this lease but not everyone has $6k to spare.

Alvin is helpful during move in process. Find some issues with the furniture in the first week. The maintenance team does a good job and fixes the issues quickly. There is still construction onsite with a lot of noise from 8am to 5pm. The water from tap is cloudy. Lower the rating. The construction is still ongoing and very noisy.

As others have mentioned, lots of noise, dust and dirt due to renovation. And the renovation time frame seems to get extended. Random construction material, tools left everywhere. Patio area is useless as its either blocked due to construction equipment left or the dust and digging done near it. The lake has been emptied since some time last year. I have never seem water in the lake, in front of my apartment since I moved in. The parking spots get restricted randomly and even if its not, the parking spot, or entry to parking spot is blocked many times because of the workers doing their renovation work in front of the spot. There have been some security incidents, packages were stolen, items have been stolen from the patio, random person walking in the community. It has currently vehicle patrol which is not really thorough. Security is really quite pathetic here. Requests from some in the community, to install security cameras/foot patrol for security purposes, has been passed on. Response from management was something along the lines of "We have reviewed this and it was decided that we will not be adding security cameras at this time, but that can always change in the future" which doesn't really help, in-spite of many posts in community board regarding the above security issue. As mentioned in one of the reviews, management is really slow at responding to questions and concerns of the tenants at the community board - in some cases to the point that it is obvious that they are intentionally ignoring it. The only positive is the maintenance team, which attends to any issue quite quickly and efficiently.

If you need a sweet home with quiet and neat community, STAY AWAY FROM BOARDWALK. I moved here several months ago and as I just relocated to CA, no one mentioned there would be years construction during the leasing process. They did put an addendum to notify you of the construction but the language was extremely vague without any details on where, when and how long the project would take. Also, DO NOT believe the picture with beautify river between buildings, I have lived here for months and I never saw the river with water filled in. As the construction goes, you will hear the noise starting from 8 am in the morning EVERYDAY for both interior renovation on a building next to you AND large construction noise for exterior renovation next to your door. Not to mention, I am very confident that the construction could not be completed in the next 2 years (YES, I AM SERIOUS, 2 YEARS. They plan to renovate the exterior of all buildings and every one takes months. During this time, your balcony could not place any time which is an "extra rewards" you get alongside construction noise, and management will not respond to you on exact timeline when this gonna finish). Giving the high monthly rental fee over here you deserve a better place. STAY AWAY from here. But, I will give credit to the mechanism team (separate from management team) here that they response very quick and get problem fixed very fast with good quality. Thank you!
