The Fremont Household Hazardous Waste Facility onsite at the Transfer Stations accepts propane tanks during open hours. Wed - Fri: 8:30 AM - 2:30 PM Sat: 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM Damaged or empty propane tanks and cylinders are hazardous waste and should never be put in the garbage or recycling. They could become punctured during the collection process and cause a fire or injury.

The Fremont HHW Facility accepts old medications. Pills should be poured out into Ziploc bags (it protects your privacy and lowers disposal costs). All of your pills may be mixed together in one bag. Liquids and creams: leave in their original container and secure caps/lids. Black out any personally identifying information and place in a Ziploc bag.
