Amazing views and great service. We showed up about 90 minutes before service and took the 1000 foot elevator ride north to the gods and sky. The line took about and hour but they had a manager placing people as quickly as possible. Once seated we had drinks within 1-2 minutes and enjoyed the lovely sunset. They even dims the lights inside to enjoy the show outside!

Amazing lounge overlooking Chicago downtown and Navy Pier. Great to take pictures and enjoy a drink while taking in the view. Night views are even better. Would say it’s a must visit. Weekdays aren’t that crowded so if you are visiting Chicago, definitely be there as soon as it is open. Good selection of wines and cocktails at reasonable prices. Has a policy of 1 drink minimum.

I liked it. The views are amazing, it is SO busy. We missed our check in time and didn't get the window seat as promised, but it's ok. I loved my steak. The drinks were good. Very classy, love the décor here. This is just a must do, for any special occasion or just to see lovely Chicago. You have to do this at least once.

Everyone should visit this restaurant at least once in their lifetime and make sure to go around 5pm. The view is absolutely breath taking. The ambiance of the restaurant is so peaceful. The food was great and I literally don't have 1 complaint. Very upscale and intimate setting. Definitely recommend!! ❤️

There is a parking garage attached to the building at 875 N Michigan Avenue. You can enter the garage on either Chestnut Street or Delaware Place.
You don't need to pay for a reservation. The prices are definitely on the expensive side, but well worth it. If you want to save some money, go for lunch instead of dinner.
Yes! The view at night is breathtaking. Just make sure to request a seat by the windows.
You don't really need a reservation but it's highly recommended because if you go there and it's booked up then you have to wait. Usually there's no wait for the lounge but again it's always best to have a reservation
You walk in yo the bottom floor of the building and then they have signs and security to guide you to the right spot. You wait in a hallway with an employee who welcomes you and helps you on the elevator with others. Its a very easy process.
The sky deck is in a different building. The 360 observatory is located on the 94th floor of the john handcock and is ran thru the basement/concourse level of the building where you buy tickets for them. You can't access the 94th floor thru the signature room.
Yes. We called the restaurant, and children of any age are welcome.
I wouldn't bet on it, never seen free drinks on busy days. On Holidays as hard as it is to get a reservation made, why would they give away free drinks etc. Promotions are for times when it's slow
Spot hero and park for $20
Yep
The restaurant has a formal dress code, but the lounge does not
Dinner service typically starts around 3/4, but I would call them and ask.
Yes our lunch menu is only offered during lunch service. Dinner service begins at 5pm.
Yes. My husband wore slacks, a collared shirt and sweater vest and it was appropriate
I agree with Michael, seating near the windows is definitely best. Was very crowded when I visited
This is a really good question to be answered in totality on the Chicago Lady tours or through their partners at the Chicago Architectural center on 111 Wacker.
Yes there is, Business casual. No ripped pants, no tennis shoes and no hats.
You want the Signature Lounge on the 96th floor.
The last I knew both the Signature Room and Lounge were closed. I tried finding more on their website but was unable too.
Closed since March 20th
Excellent question! I understand that you can, SignatureRoom.com
It depends on what they consume target, look at their menu online, there is not much variety ... I was in new year and pay what I consumed, $ 60 on the weekend but it is buffet and in my opinion they have more variety of food
Yes, to some degree. While you are making your reservation online there is a section for special requests. They offer flowers and other things like that, and I am sure they would be very accommodating.
Hi Olivia~ Our Happy Hour menu is offered 4pm-7pm - Monday-Friday. We hope to have you join us soon! Cheers!
95th, the bar is on the 96th and the observation deck is on the 94th.
You can go to the bar without a reservation and without paying any sort of admission!
The lounge is mostly for the finger foods and cocktails while the signature room is meant for dinner and the view mostly! I would suggest getting reservations for the room to get a good window seating but the lounge doesn't take any reservations unfortunately and doesn't have really great views if you have already been to the Sears building. Although it's a good place for couples to have a nice time.
Happy hour is when a bar places a temporary offer price on a drink or drinks for an hour or more on one or more days of the week. Generally only week days. Hope this helps
It is free to ho up to the restaurant or lounge, but you must order something. If you are going to the signature room or lounge you will get to ride a priority elevator free. Otherwise, if you just want to see the views you must pay to go to the observatory one level lower and wait in line. Observatory is far cheaper than what you will pay for a meal or drink!
We took Uber. Don't know about parking.
I doubt, no
I always find a parking spot by the street next to NWestern hospital. But be ready to dish out some cash if you don't find a spot
Offices, condos, restaurants, stores... it's a small city in a building
Yes! We were just there and just went straight up to the lounge for lunch and views. If you're doing dinner I suggested going for an earlier one to get the best view of the city and beat any rush.
Menu says $85 per person for easter brunch
Great place for their fantastic views! Food is good but there are items that contain nuts.
No you do not need reservations for the lounge on the 96th floor, which is open on a walk in basis only. Our dress code is linked here: https://www.signatureroom.com/room/about/dress-code/ Cheers!
We offer an extensive buffet featuring chilled seafood, seasonal salads, fresh fruit, assorted cheeses & charcuterie and an omelet station. You're also able to order unlimited plated entreés as well. You can end your meal with a visit to our dessert buffet.
We do seat reservations at your reservation time, however if we're able to accommodate you early, we will get you seated as soon as possible. Guests with reservations prior to yours have priority. There are other variables that will affect seating times including table preference.
Our weekend brunch is $60 per person not including tax or gratuity. Our brunch menu is available online at www.signatureroom.com/room/menus/brunch
They don't seem to have a crazy specific dress code, someone next to us wore sweatpants. Most people dress up a little at least
No we do not validate parking; there is a self parking garage attached to the building.
We are open for lunch Monday-Friday from 11am-2:30pm and we are open for dinner Sunday-Thursday from 5pm-10pm and Saturday/Sunday from 5pm-11pm. Also, feel free to visit our website for additional times and menus at www.signatureroom.com
Yes
Yes absolutely! We have both on our menu. Enjoy!
We offer our weekend brunch on Saturdays and Sundays from 10am-2pm.
We do not accept reservations in the lounge on the 96th floor, we are open on 96 on a walk-in basis only. Free parking is not available; there is a parking garage attached to the building which is the most convenient option. Many guests use SpotHero to purchase discounted parking.
You can park in the building for convenience, the signature does not endorse it. If you don't mind walking a bit, parking on the street is an option, or other parking lots might be cheaper too
There is a parking garage attached to the building (875 N Michigan) which you can enter on either Delaware Place or Chestnut Street.
The John Hancock Building. One of the best restaurants in Chicago with the BEST view and service!!!
Prices are available at the website and they explain them well. The view and atmosphere are more than worth the price of the meal...
Yes
Go for a couple of cocktails and maybe an appetizer to enjoy the view. I had the lobster and prime steak. My colleague had the lobster. My steak was terrible. Lobsters were ok. But she and I both got sick the same night- stomach pains. For 3, we spent approximately $500.
Yes! They would love it. Lunch is the perfect time for kids. That was the first thing I asked the waiter because I planned on returning with my husband and daughter.
There is not. Also, you'll need to walk 25' from the door to the Hancock building, should you choose to go outside. Also, be mindful that the elevator can take some time should you choose to go down during your visit.
I would call and make reaervation beforhand, but yeah its just like other bars, you wont have to pay extra. 360 tour is operated by different company.
10-2:30. Saturday and Sunday
They will have room for you
I went recently I actually think they close at 2am.
Through google maps is the simplest way
Brunch is Saturday and Sunday, 10am-2:30pm
7pm
The menu does not have any kid friendly items. When I went, I did not see any high chairs or children. Lounge area is definitely not kid friendly, as most seating is on 3 foot chairs or bar style seating.
