it definitely has been some time since ive last gone to the alameda county fair but even now coming as an adult it is still a blast!! here are some highlights/activities that ive put together for different age groups: for younger kids theres petting zoo, chicken/birds/rabbits/hamsters, guinea pigs, fishes, snake exhibits, younger kids rides area and fair games in general for older kids & adults besides the petting zoo, animal exhibits, fair games, rides --theres also photo booths, vendors, and etc for everyone theres an art exhibit, lots and lots of food options (which can be a bit overpriced) but some have a bigger portion you can share with your group, sitting & chilling areas - bathrooms every where in most indoor buildings! strictly for adults theres drinks being sold, a "bar/pub" section near the entrance with music playing along with a lot of chairs and drinks being sold! in terms of rides/tickets your best bet would be to buy the unlimited rides wristband and if you are interested in playing fair games you can also add money so that they can scan your wristband for that! they are not taking cash this year but are accepting card payments! what i also appreciate about the fair ground staff was how organized parking delegation was as they had multiple people in different spots to guide me where to go and overall it was such a fun experience - 10/10 would recommend for anyone who wants to go with a friend/family/team bonding/date and etc!!

I was at the fairgrounds for the annual RV show. Course I just irritated when I had to pay $15 for parking you would think that fairgrounds could cut some slack. And then $15 to get into the show. The concessions are pretty pathetic. If you order cheese nachos and for the nacho cheese out of the bag. I had a A pretzel that was my guess made with regular bread dough. Because it did not taste like a pretzel. The fairgrounds could do a be a better job at concessions.

Came on a Saturday afternoon. Car line went pretty fast. Didn't have to park too far. Line to get went pretty smooth too. They had enough lines open and got through security in less than 10 mins. The fair wasn't as big as I remembered it to be last time I went a few years ago. Lots of food vendors!!! Lots of variety to choose from. Big kids sections for rides. Booths inside the buildings were ok. Didn't have anything I really needed though. It wasn't as crowded but maybe because we were there early. It was cool to see the pumpkin carving guy carving away a pumpkin. All in all had a great time.

Came here for the 155th Annual Scottish Highland Games and had a fantastic time. So much to see and do. The games are not to be missed. And there is some great food to be had. Also, be sure to check out the whiskey tasting area for some delicious spirits.

Admission is $15 for adults and $10 for kids or seniors
Need to get a application on the fairgrounds window... They make the best shows on bay area. Go to CAPITAL SHOWCASE.
Honestly the best way to find that out would be to Google it just typing Alameda County fairgrounds event schedule and it should come right up
l
Just Google alameda county fair schedule to get the latest events at the fairgrounds. The fairgrounds are open year round. If you are wanting to know about the carnival. That is usually around June or July.
Admission is included with the price of a concert ticket
Today is the last day

The family package ONLY includes parking and 4 admissions. And if you choose to buy wristbands, they are about $30 -$ 35 for full day unlimited rides. Hope this helps.

They might enjoy this the petting zoo and some of the STEM area activities.
They had their big fireworks show last Friday. Due to major issues (shootings) in previous years they don't do the big show on the 4th anymore.
Yes, but you have to pay a separate set of tickets for it

Elevator at the stairs the side farther from the parking pavilion it's in a small front corner wheel chair access we used it opening day.
8 p.m. they are first come first serve. However they also offer reserved seating for an additional cost which also includes entry into the fair.
I believe it depends on the show, but not parking.
60+ has discount everyday. June 16th is Father's day, entry free.
Today 6/14 War Tomorrow 6/15 ashanti and 6/16 Ramon Ayala and Yolanda del Río all begin @ 8 p.m.
No
Ramon Ayala If you go to the Alameda county fairgrounds website and the follow the link to the Big O Tire concert series you'll find the information there.
You need to call the sponsor of the event. They will tell you what the suze of the spaces are, availability, and price. Usually the soaces at the end cals and aling the walls go for more than the spaces in the middle. At the last tiy show the spaces were 8ft by 8ft and cost 155.00 to 185.00. They did include one table 3ft by 8ft.
It might be free because I can't find tickets online but I agree you might want to call just to double-check
I do not know how much the car show is but the parking is 10 dollars
Not sure check the website

Yes
Yes there is
As far as I know only certain service dogs are allowed into the fairgrounds. I am sure if you check the website you can verify the information I and others have posted. If it's that important to you then I would suggest that look into it further.
Sean Kingston
Don't know that. Not sure.
Yes bottle water of course....I am with the race horses.... Alhambra water service at grounds.....
There is contact info on the website
I'd start with getting your parents to call for you and see if you qualify
If you are working or volunteering during that timeframe, you'll need to get authorisation & permit from fair personnel.
$15 per adult, children were free. $1 off coupon on their website.
Just google that info. Many events throughout tbe summer months
The horse racing is done when the Alameda County Fair is open for business
No...they don't
I don't know if they are available for the Good Guys but they were available to rent at the Fair.
The fair ended July 10th
Entry is included. Pay to park. No cash. All card
They scan your QR code and you don't need a dashboard / physical ticket any more.
There is a sign at the front gate no pets allowed.
Yea you will just be able to walk in
Yes
The whole place is contactless, but you can go to specific machines & put cash onto a card to use.
Complaint..... contact ADA!
Be prepared to pay for everything on card. Very little food stands take cash. The people inside buildings do take cash but everything outside is card only
Can't remember. Their website has the daily line up..
Yes, but don't get tricked into buying their debit card. It can not be used everywhere, and some vendors will take cash. Use your own debit or credit card.
Unfortunately there is not.
I have no idea. You may want to check on the website for the fair.
Call the main fairgrounds and they will answer that for you
