This review is for Edgar only. I cannot rate others' service with 5 stars. Edgar is very personable and eager to help at any time. I come down early many mornings and Edgar always has a smile while he is working hard to make the building shine.

LOVING our time at this building. The staff is incredible. Cannot say enough good things about the people we interact with daily, from Latasha and Ivan at the front desk, to folks like Edgar Chaires, who does so many unsung things for the community, like keeping the wood floors clean and polished. This is the best place to live in DTLA.

One of the main reasons why we love it here is because of the Emerson Staff who have helped create a nice community. The Concierge Team, Support Team and Porters are incredibly helpful and mindful of our unique scenarios. One of the porters, Edgar deserves 6 stars! He goes above and beyond to communicate with us and always greets us, asking how we are doing and if we need anything. We appreciate this attention to detail. Thank you!

I was a resident at The Emerson for 14 months, and this is simply the best building in DTLA. It has and is near great amenities (Rooftop, pool, Museums, restaurants, Equinox), right by major freeways for commuting, and the immediate surroundings are far cleaner/safer than your average building in DTLA. The management/leasing team is incredibly professional and it's a little pricey, but you definitely get value for what you pay for.

Call the Emerson and speak to Maria or Chris in the Leasing office
This is an 80/20 building which means that 80% of the building is at market rate and 20% is your work for low-income. Unfortunately those who are here have no intention of moving out so chances of getting a low income apartment are very low in the near future.
Yes of course low income individuals have to pay for rent. It's substantially less than what would be a market-rate apartment but it's still rent but for LA standards it's very affordable. Rent is paid monthly by check or it can be drawn from a bank account. You cannot pay for rent with a credit card.
