Great place for a cool dip with the family. Definitely recommend coming early to catch the shade and close parking.

Improvements are definitely showing. Great job Department of Parks& Recreation Sacramento County, and all dedicated workers involved in keeping this park inviting again.

The go to river spot if you live on the grid. Yup, I said it. The grid! I moved off the grid, but I frequently go to this park. I like to kayak this part of the river. Nice calm waters around sunset. This place can get crowded, bit usually isn't. Enjoy but make sure you pack it in, and pack it out! Bring a trash bag to clean up if you can.

This was a great place to take our dog, we do not care much about much anything else but a good place to Walk and have him Swim - He enjoyed the place very much, this was about the only place we could find to take our dog.

Yes you can, no fees
There is an off leash dog park near the beach and many people bring their furkin. I do strongly recommend leashing on the beach though as not all two legs know how to respect a dog's boundaries and not all two legs are capable of proper dog training. Easier to be in compliance with local law than to defend your dogs behavior. I usually let my beastie bestie get a good run at the off leash before and after the beach.
The water isn't really deep enough for a good catch. If you are a serious fisher better to try deeper waters at the end of 7th St right above discovery Park. Make sure you bring a chair though and I wouldn't recommend bringing a dog there's a lot of displaced people on that stretch of the river and so allot of famers for Durkin and human. Be safe.
you inter from North C street & 29th Street, but that trail short and it ends at the train bridge. You can ride the levee all the way to the State University. If you are coming from downtown on North C Street, you are going east, turn left on 29th Street going north into the park.
Yes
All i no is there is a dog park and the river
No. But there are bathrooms at the park before you go over the railroad tracks. The bathrooms are nasty tho.
Regular hours are 4pm-9pm Monday through Friday and 12pm-9pm on weekends at the skate park.
Yes it's pretty safe and it's pretty fun for bike rides and walking
I do not think you can go to this place
There is no camping at Sutter's Landing.
