Lovely Shady Area across from Crocker Art Museum. A myriad of people from old to young walking around. Several people laying out, some of them napping. Nice place to rest or just relax feeling a nice breeze coming off of the river nearby.

I couldn't find any vagrants to mug, but despite that it's a pretty nice park with amply cheap parking so long as u get there before 9-10

Nice location near Crocker Art Museum, with plenty of shade and open area. Would be a good place for a picnic. There is a decent amount of street/metered parking surrounding the park, making it a good place to park and visit other areas of downtown/old Sacramento. Be careful though, we saw several homeless individuals camped out later in the afternoon. Not that this makes the area dangerous, but it is something to keep in mind. Just be aware of your surroundings!

Lots of shade and great location with some picnic tables. Not any other accommodations. Could be a good lunch spot or a place to take break during the work day.
