Total rip off. Over-priced compared to other (much nicer) hotels in the general area. Nothing except the airport is close to this location. Rooms are fine, bathrooms are terrible. Showers leak toilet barely flushes. The decorators tried to be cute putting a sliding barn door on the bathroom but the result is a door that doesn’t close all the way, providing less than total privacy. Went to use wash machine on the 8th floor to wash kid’s baseball uniforms and I put the clothes, soap and money in the machine only for the machine to start and then show an error message and stop working. Lady at the front desk says maintenance man won’t do anything to help and I need to call a (completely non-existent) phone number on the wash machine to trouble shoot the machine myself and be reimbursed my $1.75. In addition, the elevators glitch and get stuck and room fridge barely keeps anything even slightly cool. Ice machine by the lobby also never had ice and the bartender was massively rude to two different people picking up their take out orders. Hotel stay does not include any sort of free breakfast and complimentary luke-warm coffee is only available in the lobby between 4:30am and 6:30am (or until gone). How nice. I never write reviews but I have never seen so disappointed by so many things with a hotel stay. I would never recommend this location to anyone. Extremely disappointed.

Older property that's been upgraded a few times. Conveniently located by Kansas City airport. Generally a decent hotel as long as you don't pay attention to the details. For the discerning crowd, you will discover small signs of neglect that point to a declining property with a premium price tag. For a quick overnight, not bad. For a longer stay, sub-par. This is the worst hotel I have stayed. AC not permitted they said because outside temp is 40s! Okay but the room temp is 75!!!! They gave us a floor fan to use!!!! The reason we stay at hotel because of comfort and now I have this fan running in the room. Room is dirty, bathroom is dirty, outdated. Completely terrible. Will not stay here again even if it’s free!

While visiting KC for a conference all flights were cancelled due to weather so we booked rooms at the Marriott for the night. When we arrived we were about 30 people deep in line waiting to check in. There was one staff member working at the time due to transition of schedules and I will admit this was one of the best customer service experiences my group received. The woman at the front desk and subsequent male employee were efficient and communicative while checking in the waiting line. While there were not enough rooms ready at the time, this was told to us waiting in line. Each guest was asked to provide the booking name and phone number and we were called when an available room was ready for us. While waiting we went over to the bar to have dinner and drinks where 1 member of the Marriott team was running the entire space. He was great and everyone was very understanding. In light of the unexpected circumstances due to weather and all flights being grounded at MCI, this team truly held it together and put the guests first. I would stay here again in a heartbeat. A team that works well under pressure, despite obvious frustrations deserves the utmost kudos. Thank you Marriott MCI airport team!

What time
I remember seeing one, but it might be best to call and ask them.
I'm pretty sure it is.. just think there maybe an additional service charge?! A just in case fee! Good luck!
Thank you for choosing the Kansas City Airport Marriott. The hotel has a set shuttle schedule beginning at 4:20am. It runs promptly every 20 minutes (4:40am, 5am, 5:20am, etc.) it is first-come, first-serve. The shuttle runs till the last flight, typically around 1:30am-2am. When coming from the airport to the hotel, call the hotel and a shuttle will be dispatched to the terminal. You wait for the shuttle at the shelter in the median/island. Please let us know if you have any other questions.
Absolutely! There is a $50.00 parking fee, reasonable room rates and free transportation to and from airport. If trip is over one week parking costs a little more but still much more reasonable than airport lot parking. Super bar and restaurant. I recommend checking in at 4:00 PM having a nice leisurely dinner, a good night's sleep and waking up fresh for your trip. We were there for a trip several weeks ago and enjoyed so much that we ate dinner there on returning and then went home. ENJOY.
Parking is free if you are eating in the restaurant, attending a meeting or staying overnight in a guest room. If you want to leave your car in the parking lot, the fee is $50 for 1-7 days and $90 for 8-30 days.
