I gave 2 stars instead of 1 because the Windsong office management did help me on multiple occasions above just a normal expectation, and for that I am grateful. My low rating is for the experience I had upon exit. Below are images of my apartment when I left. I was billed $150 for cleaning expenses and this is what my apartment looked like when I left it. I want people to make their own opinion, but I don’t feel like this was justified, as nothing was dirty beyond measure and nothing was in need of a serious deep clean. This is my first time being billed for the “cleanliness” of the apartment in my decade of renting, and I feel they are trying to cover their own business cost to flip apartments. Please keep this in mind if you choose to rent with a Cortland Property.

These apartments are lovely, the grounds are beautiful and the staff is awesome. Our only issue was the near doubling of rent upon renewal. Sadly, many long-term residents were forced to move. I know that the rent increases are not directly related to the company. That being said, prepare for a 50% rent increase upon renewal.

We love Cortland Windsong Ranch! Lauren in the front office is always so cheerful and super helpful. She is the first smiling face you see and has amazing attitude. Awesome property that starts in the front office!

Great community. Have lived here over a year. We were only going to stay here 15 months but ended up resigning lease since we had such positive experience here. The complex itself is clean and quiet. The staff is very helpful and responsive should we have any issues. The service team is beyond helpful and we never have to wait for something to get fixed. Not that anything has broken but change light bulbs and AC filters is about it. Nice little dog park for pets and we’ve met some wonderful neighbors. Would highly recommend.
