I lived here for a year and I wouldn't trust good reviews because they bribe good reviews in return for free gifts. The entire first floor apartments are completely infested with COCKROACHES and the apartment exterminators spray a little bit of something that doesn't work at all and refuse to do anything else. We even tried to hire an outside exterminator but they won't work on single unit apartments so you just have to coexist with them. We were at a point where we were killing at least 7 a day and we tried every single store bought product. There were at least two major pipe bursts in the year I lived there and massive flooding with damage to multiple apartments. Alarms constantly go off in the middle of the night and if your oven is at or over 400 degrees the fire alarms will definitely go off. People at the front desk were nice enough but there was nothing they could do to solve the absolutely horrendous living conditions. Definitely didn't renew my lease.

There was a huge plumbing issue in the building and many tenants were told that they had to completely move out for two months so they could fix it. We were given 3 days notice and no options on where to move. And to top it all off, they say we can't get out of our lease to go somewhere else even though our unit is uninhabitable - which is a violation of Texas tenants rights. We will be contacting our attorney.

The single elevator available constantly breaks, fire alarms frequently go off, the power and wifi spontaneously go out on occasion, the front gate has broken before, there always seems to be an issue. A whole section of the apartment was flooded and it was not because of a resident, it was the building itself. Now they are trying to force those residents affected out of their apartments with 1 weeks notice, terminating their leases and not answering any emails, calls, or help about it. They just want people to shut up and leave without saying anything. They seem to essentially bribe people to give the place 5 star ratings with gift cards and such. There is always an issue at Maverick place, I have not met anyone who is completely satisfied with their stay. They might be one of the cheapest options around but that is for a reason, please look elsewhere before making a decision here.

Called and talked with Elizabeth. I was honestly super impressed with how informative they were. I had a bunch of questions about the lease and I was happy to get a clear understanding of everything. This will be my first apartment and I’m excited to be moving in come August. High key recommend them to anyone anxious about signing a lease :)
