A truly wonderful place to live. Custom cabinetry is a very honest description. 1980’s cabinets that are warped, each customized with water stains, scratch marks, dried paint drips and separating molding and as an added bonus mismatched knobs and pulls - that is true customization. Fenced yards, also another delightful amenity if you don’t mind your neighbors fence leaning into your yard, or maybe you can just share a yard because the fence fell down last year and it’s still on the ground. 24-7 professional maintenance who will leave your unit with even more code violations in attempt to add their own decorative touches wherever they go. Landscaping, yes, there were mature trees here, once, most of the trees have found their way into the ole tree chipper highway to tree heaven and as for professional landscaping - early ghetto or maybe desolate Death Valley themed for sure, dry, cracked and empty flower beds abound (here’s an inside secret, the property is waiting for you to spend your time and money on their landscaping). But don’t fret, if your unit is closer to the main streets you just might get some of that HV faux “curb appeal”. Management is out of touch with the property and really doesn’t give a flip about the residents….it’s hard for them to care about anyone but themselves with their “show me the money” mindset. Why work when you can hide in your office making paper clip jewelry and cut out dolls all day? They are rude, argumentative and morally bankrupt. But what you can count on are antique, inefficient HVAC equipment, extremely high electric bills, a total lack of insulation in the ceiling and walls, 20-30 year old windows, massive gaps and cracks around every door and window (-who doesn’t mind air conditioning or heating the outside?), incompetent maintenance and a yearly increase in your rent. Welcome to Highland Villas…where you pay more, get less and we simply don’t care. I had to give one star, there was no way to get negative stars.

lived here for a while. poor house condition. high utilities bill. bugs in the house. all they did was cover up just enough to get you sign the lease. Mary Ann is great to go to. Donna always give you attitude very bad management.

I have lived at Highland Villas for over 10+ years and I am proud to call it home. I have felt safe and secure never having an issue of any kind. I love the fact that the residents are very friendly, office staff are always helpful and care for their residents. Maintenance has never been an issue, private parking and fenced backyards are a plus, u highly recommend.

We have lived at Highland Villas for over 7 years now. I have to say the staff is amazing. They are understanding, kind and will work with you if for some crazy reason something happens. If there is ever an issue and you need something fixed they will send someone ASAP. The area we live in is quiet and they are always updating to approve the area.
