Awesome park, perfect for cayak, dog walk, bike ride, kids park and more. Clean bathrooms and ample parking. Close to restaurants and shops.

I can’t believe I’ve only known about this place now. This is one of the best parks in CT we’ve visited so far. Beautiful river view from the boathouse balcony. Lots of trails leading to the river, huge ball fields, boat launch area, big children’s playground, very clean surroundings. People were sitting on a dock and just soaking their feet in the water. Very relaxing. There are kiosks with tables to sit, relax and eat. I didn’t see any picnic areas where you can grill… That would be nice to be able to just grill, eat with family and enjoy the view. But despite that missing piece, it’s an excellent place to relax.

Went there for my son's baseball game. Real nice baseball diamond, that's about the only thing I seen there. They had a huge bleacher right behind the home plate! It looked well maintained and kept up, so I have to give the town maintenance a 👍.
