I took my pet to the vet for euthanasia. They said even though they knew his condition but they still needed to charge me for examination. I felt like that was okay since maybe they would let me know other information. However, they just told me to wait at the room and took away my pet. I thought the doctor might came to see me or something. I had NO idea that they were going to euthanize my pet at that moment. After a few minutes they gave my pet back and at that time he had already passed. Also, since my pet had been lying with the same position for a while so he had one side of body that looked more decent and another side looked just not as good. When they handed me back my pet, he was on the not-so-pretty side. I definitely felt that they were not treating my baby the way I thought they should be. I felt so sad and I didn't feel they treated animals and their owners with the respect I was hoping for. Why didn't they just told me they were going to euthanize my pet? Instead, they just told me to wait. What do you mean by "wait" when you charged me examination fee? I expected someone would show up to let me know something so I paid for the examination fee. However, I DIDN'T hear A SINGLE THING from the doctor. Horrible experience. Will NOT recommend here to anyone who loves their pets. You can tell how unmindful they are from these little details. I should have brought my baby to another place for his last moment. I feel so sorry for him.

I have 4 pets that go to alum rock animal hospital. They are great for domestic animals. And they can treat your parot as well. They open at 8 am they are great. But for your parot if an emergency i suggest you take it to Monterey animal shelter on Monterey road. They accept all animals including snacks, rabbits turtles ect. They accept walk ins from 9am to 9pm. Or you can take it to 24hour service emergency for all animals at 5440 thornwood dr san jose. Or in campbell 905 Dell ave. I hope this info was helpful and lots of luck with your parot.

Just call and ask them..they are super nice there. I'm most cases I do believe you are charged an office visit and then the shots

How much does it cost for medication and treatment for a guinea pig that has uri infection? Lost weight due to not eating well also eyes are crusty along with its nose with some bleeding because of scratching and irritation.

That's a question to ask the vet directly. I do know that their prices are very reasonable and they don't do a lot of unnecessary testing. So you're expenses will be minimal. As a pet owner, you owe it to your companion to get him/her treated. Good luck!
