Fin-Tech Business Meeting. Ballroom temperature was perfect. The sound system was clean and crisp. The staff was nice and and gave accurate directions or walked with you to your destination. Very clean and well lit.

Never in my life have I felt so disrespected then this morning at our checkout. There are so many reasons I give this hotel 1 star. The complete lack of disregard for my feelings, the side comments, the eye rolls, the backtalk during checkout. I mean seriously, this is the face of the organization? After reaching a stopping point over confusion with checkout I asked the desk attendant if we could work with her manager instead. She REFUSED to call her manager. When I asked her name she walked away. This was the complete tip of the iceberg for this stay. Additional issues I have were when we checked in last night, we were met with a very pleasant man. He told us there is coffee in the lobby in the morning. When you pay for an uptown hotel, that seems very much the norm. So this morning I ventured downstairs, and asked the morning person manning the desk where the complimentary coffee was. She pointed me in the direction. when I went over to the counter across the lobby, the person working said the coffee was at cost. So I went back to the front desk, very upset. The same lady seemed to shrug it off and step aside. The other attendant addressed my concerns, wrote it down, and said she would bring the note to the sales manager, who would call me before we checked out. I should of predicted that there would be no call. Additional issues I have with the hotel seem to all stem from a lack of communication within the management company. For example, the ice maker on our floor did not work. Not a big deal, we called down and the attendant said he would make note of it and have someone look at it the next day. However, when addressed this later, they said no note was left for the day shift. Again, I highly encourage everyone to AVOID this hotel. Can a hotel without hospitality, even be considered a hotel?

Eating area is dim and hotel seemed like it needed updates. Restrooms downstairs we often messy. Hotel floors are above a parking garage so there is little movement in the halls. I asked front desk if they could get me a cab at 5am. "Sure, no problem. The service we use is fast." Next morning, front desk could not find a cab, even after calling all the "fast" services for 20 minutes. I ended up using lyft. The cab the hotel got for me called me--after I was already at the airport. That might not be the hotel's fault, but it added to my experience because the front desk promised a cab would be "no problem." On the whole, didn't like the hotel and I wouldn't go back. It's not a pleasant place. You might as well spend a few more dollars and stay at the actual Marriott 2 blocks away--it will be a better experience.

I would like to first off start off with saying that when I first arrive Wednesday night the receptionist could not find my reservation after Booking.com had already charged my card $185. Secondly the receptionist ended up charging me to stay Wednesday into Thursday and asked me to come back Thursday morning so that she can get the right pass code from booking.com. Thursday morning at roughly 10 am I made a phone call to the front desk to double check that everything came in from booking.com the new receptionist told me that the previous receptionist had said to go ahead and charge my card for Thursday -night -Saturday night checking out on Sunday . Booking .com charged me $387.50 the hotel charged me $424.77. Now on to Friday the manager tells me my key isn’t working because my room isn’t paid for . He calls my room back to back asking me to come downstairs not even giving me a chance to walk downstairs before making the second call. I call my bank and pull up my bank statements to provide proof that $424.77 was taken out of my account 02/17/2022. Then the manager apologizes and I return to my room. Now it is Saturday morning and the front desk receptionist lets me know that I have to check out today after 5 people already told me my card was charged up until Sunday morning. I would never stay here again . The receptionist from Wednesday said my stay included a breakfast and there is no breakfast. I had to take a freezing cold shower because their hot water wasn’t working . I wouldn’t stay here they are disorganized and unpredictable. I have contacted my bank to watch this business so that they do not make any more unauthorized charges on to my account.
