I was charged $2,000 an hour for labor. I was quoted for a roof tune-up. Had I know in advance that the work would only take a 1/2 hour and that my billing rate was $2,000 or a total of $995. I would not have agreed to the work. Tried to work with the salesmen and home office, but was told that the rate of $2000 an hour was not unusual. I have contracted the state of Ohio attorney general......

The worst company to ever deal with. Rude management- was yelled at and told all our issues not theirs. Delay after delay- wrong size window- forgot a window and trim issues. We were told we would be compensated- LIES ALL THE WAY

After some damage to our siding from a recent storm, we decided to replace all of our siding. We obtained several bids, and Mr. Roof had good reviews, used quality materials, gave a competitive bid and could start within several weeks. Project was scheduled. We were then contacted; project was pushed back “due to weather”, and in all fairness we had had a lot of rain. Project rescheduled. Contacted again to push back project. Contact person confided that they had counted on an additional crew, that did not materialize. So, I took this to mean that too many jobs got booked. Rescheduled for the third time. Finally started 2 months late. Day 1: started at 11:30 AM. Day 2: started at 09:50AM, day 3: 10:35AM and day 4: 10:00AM. Originally told that it would take three days, but now, longer. Most projects we have done have 0800 starts. Now for the bad part. Came home from dinner to find multiple nails through the bedroom wall, that they were working on as we left for dinner. I spoke with project manager Kevin and his manager, Justin and I asked “just to be clear, nails through the walls are acceptable?" and both stated that per the contract, that is acceptable damage that they are not responsible for. They did offer to patch with drywall mud. Buyer beware. I will check with company policy, but workers smoked (on the job, not just on breaks) frequently. Poor cleanup on some days, with nails and cigarette butts on our back patio: yard was supposed to be cleaned daily. Gate to backyard was left open first 2 days, until we had to remind them to close it. We have a dog and we found this a real issue. Just had house painted and lots of dirty smudges on trim. Also, there was no consideration for our landscaping. Scrap thrown over plants and one Japanese maple was destroyed. Silicone caulk on multiple places on patio that required professional cleaning. I understand weather delays. Simple courtesy issues, and cleanup as promised, should not have to be addressed by the customer. In short, I would never use again! Photos enclosed.

I called Mr. Roof for an estimate. The man came to my house, presented his ID, and I have not seen or heard from him since then. I never got my estimate. Yes, I called the home office to no avail.

They do, but they are a terrible company. Find someone else to do your work. They tried to substitute inferior materials instead of what I paid for. I told the salesman that ALL of the facia and soffits needed to be "wrapped" - there was obvious damage from birds/squirrels and exposed wood. The salesman repeatedly left out important parts of the job. I paid for "extra work." Still didn't complete the job.
