I had dinner here, literally right on the beach, as part of a catered corporate event. The food, staff, and (most impressive) THE VIEWS were all lovely. Everything was perfect from cocktail hour through dessert. It got a little chilly because we were right by the water outside, so if that's the plan for you make sure to bring a jacket (we were warned so I was prepared.) Gorgeous event and setting and I'd definitely recommend this place to anyone.

It was a long wait. But we added our names to the wait list and spent time on the beach. Many of us were vegetarian and they were more than happy to make changes/add to make it vegetarian friendly. Very tasty food. Plus points for fresh squeezed juice.

Great location. Had to park the car a little far away and take the shuttle to the restaurant. The shuttle is available every 10 mins. Parking tickets are validated by the restaurant. If it is not windy or cold then we can also take the trail and walk from the parking lot to the restaurant. The food was great! The restaurant is on the beach. Service was great. April attended us. She helped us with the order. She was very patient & friendly with changes to kids orders. Plan ahead to avoid long wait times on weekends.

I highly recommend!!! The views are amazing and it was warm with multiple heaters outside! Service was impeccable and they had a SKINNY MULE!!!! It was beyond delicious!! Food came out very quickly and it tasted great!! We ordered the artichokes and we didn’t know what we were in for. You have to scrape the artichokes with your teeth in case you’ve never tried them. We will be returning!!

I would highly recommend a reservation if they take reservations since this restaurant is very popular. However usually they provide beepers so you can stroll on the beach until your table is ready.

I agree with Samir. Online had nothing, walking up in person we were told 45mins for patio or seated right away for inside. We picked inside as you can still see the beach.

Nope, they don’t ask for anything. Only needed a mask for the shuttle and to walk inside the restaurant, but that could be going away now.
Yes. They have an outside eating area that's great for pets
The first time we went, near the end of May 2021, there was a 2 hour wait at about 10AM. We were ok with it, as the waiting room is the best ever! We sat in the benches and watched the ocean and had great conversations w others also waiting. The last few times we've gone, we've made reservations and had any a couple minute wait. You can make reservations only up to 30 days in advance. It's very easy and they send a reminder about the reservation, too.
The pa to does have special wheelchairs made to go over sand. I'm sure you could use one of these to better traverse the terrain. I have a photo and will try to upload. The other responder was correct that you do check in one the beach side of the restaurant, but there is a ramp that enters the restaurant thru the bar area, that would accommodate a wheelchair. Let me see if I can post the photos if they sand wheelchairs.

If you take the shuttle it's 50 cents each way, so bring some change unless you want to walk. Downhill there and uphill on the way back.
Everyday is different on wait time but still a great location. You can take a walk down the beach while you wait. ..

You have to make a reservation on opentable.com. 20% of the restaurant's business is reservations, the other 80% are walk in. The wait can be anywhere from 15 minutes to one hour, depending on the day, season, or the weather. Weekends are always busy, three day weekends more so. Good luck ; )

Yes, the parking is in the lot for the park located on the east side of the highway (the opposite side from the Beachcomber). There is a well marked path with a tunnel under the highway & the walk is 10 minutes, very pleasant.
As soon as you get to the beach put your name on the waitlist they give you a clicker which allows you to walk up and down the beach until they paid you to tell you your table's ready it's very convenient
