The first time we went, near the end of May 2021, there was a 2 hour wait at about 10AM. We were ok with it, as the waiting room is the best ever! We sat in the benches and watched the ocean and had great conversations w others also waiting. The last few times we've gone, we've made reservations and had any a couple minute wait. You can make reservations only up to 30 days in advance. It's very easy and they send a reminder about the reservation, too.
I think they leave two thirds of the tables for walk in. We hardly ever make reservations but have had to wait as long as an hour. But you're beach side for the wait. Two weeks ago they were still were at lower seating capacity.
When I went we made reservations 2 month ahead, it was a seating limit, I don't know if now is the same
