Truly deserving of 5 π . The staff is young, convivial and knowledgeable. The tasting menu comes at a nice pace and every dish was a tour de force of the best sourced ingredients in our country and the chefs cooking chops. Housed in a causally romantic space with beautiful outdoor spaces, we sat under an ancient Chinaberry which couldnβt have been nicer. Yes, youβre going to break the bank but itβs well worth the splurge.

I already had high expectations for The French Laundry before dining and it exceeded every one of them. It was truly one of the most unique culinary experiences. The pre-fixed menu that was put together was outstanding. From the famous Oysters and Pearls all the way to the assortment of desserts, every dish was flawless! The staff members were courteous and well informed about every item on the menu as well. Getting a chance to speak to Chef Keller had been the biggest highlight of the entire evening. Hoping to make it back again soon!

My experience here was nothing short of wonderful! The food was amazing and the service was nothing like I had ever seen before. They have their top notch service down to a science. I donβt eat certain meats and they were actually very accommodating with providing other options for the meats that I do not eat.

Great experience, the service is world-class, and the food is fantastic. Having said all of that, itβs expensive, not sure if I would come back unless it was a special occasion. The birthday gift and autographed menus were a special touch to an incredible weekend in Yountville!

Don't waste your money spending $310 a person on vegetables with no butter , the chef cant use any french culinary technique making vegan , eat Idian in London for same price it will cost for a four top with wine at the Laundry.
Yes. Go to Tock and find out date and time they next open up a block of reservations. Then be on your laptop ready to press the button to reserve at the second (literally) they open up the tables. Reservations are gone within about 10 seconds. Think of it like winning a radio contest. You must be competitive. And your reservation will be months away. Note: if you start by choosing a Monday, you'll be more likely to win. Because everyone else is clicking on Saturdays and Fridays; they only click on Mondays as a final resort, so you'll beat them to it. As an alternative, you might consider Single Thread in Healdsburg. Also a 3 Michelin star restaurant, and absolutely outstanding in every way. If you go there in a warm month, be sure and get there 30 to 60 minutes before your reservation, so you can enjoy the ethereal rooftop bar. Update: now, also hard to get in....but overall, ST is the better restaurant.
Our service staff did not. However, they probably do laundry, although maybe they have theirs sent out.
The fires are affecting reservations. Our dinner last night was cancelled because the Laundry had no power.
If you are looking for coupons your money is likely better spent elsewhere.
Online.
Emily is right. Inform them ahead if time and you'll have an even more different dining experience.
Not yet
Bring all your laundry at once, and see what they can do !
What Pat said. Be online ready to go at 9:59am on the 1st March I believe. Tables will go FAST
Not as such but if you give them a budget they can match some glasses, which is what we did.
They refunded our money because of a medical reason.
I just tried to make a reservation on your French Laundry website for Tuesday September 27th for your latest seating Your website could not guarantee me a reservation for 2 & placed me on a wait list Are you able to assist me with this and confirm reservation please & with many Thanks
Non refundable booking, but you can resell it or transfer it to someone else.
Tasting menu is currently $350/person
There is outdoor dinning and when you make your reservation is when you can sellect indoor or outdoor.
Everything is okay. Nothing problem. Come and enjoy your great time
I dont know when it will open but its like a 3-4 month wait on reservations
Check their website but it should be 3 months in advance when they post up new reservations online
Just keep trying that's what we did
Its around 350 per head for the pre-pay tickets, then you are going to want wine. Plus there are upgrades and add ons.
A flask is against the California law. And I am pretty sure there is a way to get what Y a need. Call them and see if they can set up a bottle service for ya...they are extremely accommodating. Soo worth it!
They open for reservations every 3 months. Sometimes if you can get a cancellation..
Don't know. Just call them.
If you want wine pairings with the meal. It can easily go above 500 per person. My party ended up spending close to 1000 a person with the pairing and the 25th anniversary menu, but it is worth every penny.
Is you set the date and you are in the waiting list. They going to call you if they have any opening for that day
Pure speculation in my part but I suspect you're going to have to have significant prior experience in fine dining to be considered.
We made reservations in late may early June and got in late September of 2018.
Every odd month they open tables. Check the reservation site
Hey that's pretty cool! I don't have an email for you, but I'm interested to hear how it goes. Do you think you can post back here when you get it sorted?
They include tip on the bill. And then they have an additional line for "additional gratuity" π
Lunch is the same menu as their dinner service. Reservations are slightly easier to come by, but you're still looking at about making them at least three months in advance. For most people, dining at the French Laundry is not going to be a spur of the moment thing.
I booked one minute after they opened reservations and the closest date was 3 months away!
You can call and they'll help you out

I'd recomend not taking kid, get sitter and enjoy a three hour meal the way it should be enjoyed , with friends.
We had a gift card also and what we had to do was make the payment with a credit card and then call them afterward and give them the gift card number and they will refund the credit card. Bon Appetit.
Might want to call or check their website. The wildfires have been unpredictable with the Diablo winds.
