Authentic French Cuisine. We saw a famous TV chef enjoying a meal too without being bothered. Large dishes so I think it could easily be considered family style. None of us finished our dishes as they are large and rich. Friendly and even boisterous atmosphere.

Amazing experience eating french country food in Napa. The dishes were extremely generous, well done and very tasty. I was surprise by the way they prepare the pig's feet. The wine was also incredible!

A classic bistro fixing up French country fare in cozy digs with an adorable interior and beautiful open air patio. I have been wanting to come to Bistro Jeanty for years, as I heard legendary tales about their tomato soup. I will say, the tales lived up to the hype. The puff pastry baked over the top was perfect, the creamy tomato soup was as good as I had built it up to be in my mind over all these years. You can't beat a lunch at a french bistro in Yountville, CA. It just simply cannot be done.

We came here on 2 pm on a Thursday so this place is so popular! Inside the place is pretty casual, not extremely upscale, though the prices reflect a more bougie experience. Good: I really liked the tomato bisque puff pastry soup - it's really unique to have the whole pastry sitting on top of the soup itself, which was a small portion size. I liked the dessert as well - we got the bread pudding and it was so tasty with the ice cream and just hit the spot on a cold winter afternoon. Bad: I wasn't as big of a fan of the escargot or the pig feet or warm pig tongue appetizers - they weren't bad, they just didn't have as unique of a flavor as I had imagined. The cassoulet was also a bit bland, all of the beans added up to a fairly muddled experience. It did taste really great when we took it home - so perhaps it was just too much at once and a huge portion size. Overall, I do understand the hype, but I didn't personally find the experience so memorable that I'd come back. I'm glad I tried it out since it's so famous.
