This place continues to be where the worst of the worst customer service representatives find work. Woodland is a small town where a reputation is easy to acquire, and this place is no exception. Do yourself a favor and go to the next licensing place. After FOUR attempts to get my new car licensed it still isn’t done despite messages from Lewis River Auto Licensing stating they had all the documents they needed. Each time stating they were wrong and needed an additional document. The only redeeming quality is that the old lady that use to work the front desk is no longer there. She was as delightful as a thorn. If you’re looking for consistency though, this place is it. You can always count on awful service and needing to come back several times to get what you wanted completed correctly the first time.

Went in to transfer car with an out of state title and release of interest. The first girl didn’t know so she went to ask another girl who also didn’t know but instead of trying to help just spoke to us with an attitude and was flat out rude when we tried to explain to her that we had everything it just looked different because it’s not from WA state. Horrible customer service/people skills. We ended up having to drive 20 miles to Longview where we were able to transfer it with ease because we had all the paperwork necessary. Would not go back, if I could give zero stars I would.

Came in with oregon title and bill of sale signed off by seller and bank lein holder with clearly printed "I transfer all rights, title and interest in the above described vehicle to:" and refused service since the bank sent me the title after the sale and they want a second release of interest signed by the seller on the title also even though the Oregon DMV form covers the legality of said interest. Bank loan officer included release of interest letter with personal contact information due to known washington state difficulty with understanding release of interest forms and procedure in Oregon state. I have had this problem for out of state vehicle transfers at this location but not others with the same documentation. I advise and will inform others to stay away from conducting business here and refer those parties to other locations. I am not interested in a response, debate or any assistance from this location on this matter here forward.

Fast efficient service and friendly employees! From start to finish, obtaining our new license plates took under 15 minutes! The inside is decorated nicely and shows personality, which I’ve not seen in a department of motor vehicles in the past. It was such a surprise to walk out of the Lewis River Auto Licensing building with our brand new license plates in hand! Kudos!

Provide title, bill of sale and your info, pay the fees and then wait for title in the mail. You will receive tags on the same day.

Last time I went there I had to use the ATM to get cash to pay, so as far as I know they still don't accept debit or credit.
