Be Prepared To Request Maintenance…And Then Never Hear From Them Domain 3201 appears to be one of the nicer apartment complexes in the Marana area of Tucson. However, it ONLY appears: Upon moving in to our apartment, 3 plugins did not work, one cabinet door would fall off when opened, one drawer could not stay on its track, and one bedroom door was installed incorrectly making it impossible to close without lifting it up. While living there our bathtub lining would randomly crack while no one was using it and cause leaking, water began to leak from a light fixture, more plugins stopped working, the oven door handle would randomly fall off, the dishwashers top rack began randomly falling of the tracks until it got stuck and couldn’t be pulled out, the freezer stopped working, and water began leaking from the fridge onto our kitchen floor. The leaking would happen for about 5 minutes twice a day. Both times maintenance came to look at the fridge, the fridge was not actively leaking and told us there wasn’t a leak. If only they had to deal with wet groceries and a wet kitchen floor in their homes, then maybe they would have some actual experience and knowledge on how to do their jobs. We often waited MONTHS to hear back about maintenance requests and even had one request marked as “completed” even though we were never contacted and the issue still existed. When the maintenance guys would actually show up, they would spend most of their time standing in our apartment laughing and just having a conversation; then fail to leave our apartment the way they found it (For example: turning off our ceiling fan making our apartment way hotter than it would’ve been if they kept their hands off objects not related to their requested visit, or moving groceries around to “look” at the fridge and leaving the fridge a mess). The maintenance crew is simply a bunch of guys getting paid to do literally nothing. Thank goodness the management office told us we wouldn’t be charged for any damage the fridge might cause. And lastly, the 3 pools are constantly full of dirt, leaves, and trash; the parking situation is ridiculous. If you do not pay for a covered spot you will be left to fight for a spot…sometimes no spots are open and you have to either park under a covered spot and hope they don’t tow your car, or park in a neighboring company’s lot and hope that they don’t tow you either. Domain 3201 is in a great location, safe and pretty, but the quality of the apartments are not nearly as high as the price. It wasn’t the worst apartment/management situation I’ve experienced, but not even close to the best.

I cannot believe that we’ve been without water for the last four hours!! I have contacted Dmoain 3201 and they replied by sending me a text message saying that a plumbing service was in route. Which was two hours ago! I have called multiple times and have yet to hear anything back. My family and I walked to the pool to use that restroom and believe me that wasn’t the best choice it was dirty there was no paper towels there was no toilet paper! Not mentioning that I’m five months pregnant and have to use the restroom more than I would like. I cannot believe this!

Staff is extremely rude once you’re a settled resident, maintenance gets drunk on the job. Units are cheap dungeons with no windows. Bathrooms are super small and doors get in the way of everything even toilet. The pictures are scams and you will pay 500$ on electric bills because the windows and doors are not weather proof. You will hear your neighbors through the paper thin walls, and you only have one counter top available in the kitchen to use. Be prepared there is no storage in the kitchen. Also maintenance will come service your apartment 2 months after you put in the work order. Photos below- AIR CONDITIONING- expect to not have air conditioning in the summer every summer, for an example: mine (as pictured below) has leaked several times and pieces of dry wall came out because of the leaks. This took a week to fix, and we had to use stand up ax units to keep cool in 112 degree weather. Again expect your bill to go up 300$ MAINTENANCE- picture #2 is the neglect of maintenance completing their job, that they never do.even with 4 people on site for maintenance.

After moving out about a week ago, I unfortunately have to give this place a 1/5 star review. I am a very easy going & reasonable person and have never come close to giving this low of a review before. I have given this place so many chances and time after time, things have just gotten worse. I'm going to try and break up everything into the pro's and cons. Pros: This place is very inexpensive and my two bedroom was only $930 a month. Although a ton of things in my apartment broke, maintenance did fix them very quickly. There are also a decent amount of amenities and for the most part they are fairly enjoyable (Pool, gym). The grounds are kept up nicely and the grass and trees are actually maintained very well. Unfortunately all of this is offset by all the issues myself and other tenants have had... Cons: Where do I even begin. First off, let's talk about safety. This is a non-gated community which means that it is open to the public. Be prepared for tons of homeless and random people to swarm the place at night and break into cars. The police are here all the time for tons of different things. Around the beginning of May (5/1/2019) about 6 cars were broken into and of course everything inside was stolen. The same night people were caught on top of the leasing office trying to break in. About two months before, I came out to my car and found it sitting on BRICKS in my reserved spot. A group of people literally drove in, jacked my car up and stole all my wheels and tires (pictured). No joke, this all happened in front of a ton of apartments and not one person saw ANYTHING. People have also broken into and stolen all the equipment out of the gym multiple times. When I suggested that a cheap $150 security system be installed near the front of the building, I was told by management that "there is not a chance that is happening." If you ever want to have something delivered to your apartment, just forget about it. The package system here is an absolute nightmare. Packages get lost all the time and the last three Amazon orders I have places have just disappeared. I have confirmation that the packages were handed to a "resident" at the front office and have never seen them since (pictured). Parking is insane here and unless you pay an extra $30 a month for a reserved spot, you are not going to have a fun time. There is also no recycling at all in this complex. Are you kidding me? It's 2019 and all of these apartments have to throw away everything..?! While these apartments & the model unit look great from the outside, they can be compared to lipstick on a pig. Everything is seconds from falling apart and although maintenance will repair it quickly, the quality just isn't there. My washer and dryer broke down three times before they decided to replace it. Also I came home one day to find water pouring out from my kitchen light fixture. Turns out the water heater in the apartment above was leaking and was moments away from flooding our apartment. One of my buddies on the other side of the apartment wasn't so lucky and his apartment was completely flooded (pictured). There is also a ton of cockroaches here and you WILL see them in your apartment (pictured). The walls are paper thin and if you live on the bottom floor, you will hear your neighbors above all the time. Get ready for high utility bills also because the quality of the window fixtures allows for tons of air to pass through. Overall this place just isn't worth it. It does not feel safe whatsoever and for just a little bit more you can live in a much better community. I could go on and on but quite frankly I'm getting sick of writing this review. If you tour this place, look past the amenities, landscaping and "events" the front office hosts. I would not recommend this apartment to anyone and advise to look elsewhere. Feel free to write me with any questions and I will gladly answer them. Thanks
