I appreciated the self tour, with covid and all. I appreciated the leasing agents had masks on at all times inside the office. They worked with me to get me a unit as soon as possible. Jackie was great at explaining parking and all final details! I love how green the entire complex is and how quiet it is despite there being soooo many apartments !

I am a current resident who’s now been living here one whole month and I am already regretting the decision to move here. These apartments have managing issues, parking issues, keeping amenities such as the pool open in dead summer. Not any access to your packages once the office is close. Bees and bird issues. People are getting towed left and right for parking in the wrong places but they also allow you to leave your junk cars that has expired tags and just don’t work in the uncovered spaces that could be used by working,running cars. Property is dirty. The residents are allowed to dispose of any and all trash which makes the trash area look ghetto and not luxury as they say they are. Residents are allowed to walk their dog and not clean up after them. Putting in an order to get something fixed takes five or six visits with emails to the managing office before it’s done. I’m not happy but I know if I don’t pay them their rent on time they would be quick to slap and notice on the door. To new possible residents do your research check out the entire property and ask many questions before moving into what isn’t so luxury apartments. These are just regular ghetto non managing apartments .

The apartment themselves are good. I can hardly hear my neighbors. Not a bad place to live. I've had a lot of bugs this winter. One thing to expect is a huge rent increase when you renew your lease. Last year it was a250 dollar increase. I check monthly and rent for a my floor plan has already increased 300 dollars. 550 dollar increase in 2 years. So if price is the concern realize it may go up significantly. I'll probably be forced to move out in September. I know this is everywhere but it seems to be more in these apartments.

I do NOT recommend renting from this complex. Office staff is very unpleasant and not helpful. They try to violate tenant right, do not follow up on complaints, calls, or emails. I rented for almost 2 years. I had my car broken into in broad daylight, and I filed a police report regarding this and another report due to confrontation with another tenant regarding my assigned parking spot. I went to office regarding both incidents and nothing was done. The other tenant clearly violated lease, and office never followed up with it. I requested final walkthrough when I moved out, and they stated that not allowed due to new Covid rules. I emailed office requesting receipt of "cleaning fee" I was charged and have not received response still a week later (I am entitled to receipt as stated in landlord and tenant rights). I received a collection letter stating I owe Covington Apartment, but when I check tenant portal my dues in $0. The whole process was a nightmare and unpleasant. I have records where I have called leasing office 12 times through out the day and no answer. Parking is horrible at complex. You need to find additional parking hours ahead of time if you ever want a guest over. I've had other tenants leave their trash in my patio (which I have pictures of), and when I emailed leasing office. I never received any assistance. Do not believe their garage options because they never follow through with garage parking. Get everything in writing because if not, then they'll try to bully you into something else. Get your proof and save it! Again, DO NOT RECOMMEND!
