Worth the drive from Phoenix, don't have to travel far to see a nice little creek. Walked with the family about 1 mile from the parking lot to see water. Trail details show it is not wagon or stroller friendly. Getting there you walk through a wash and some rock. I was able to get my 3yr old in with a jogging stroller that has bigger wheels. It took some maneuvering but it worked.

Beautiful place, easy trail not to long great for someone that is getting there footing back and needs a little exercise.

Super nice trail. Water was flowing and made some little falls. Lots of amazing views.

Interesting transitional area with a few a variety of plants and animals. Pit toilets near trail head are the only services available. A few types of cactus and other scrubby trees and grasses. We took a short walk but the info station indicated some cultural significance but we didn't walk that far.

Thankfully it's back open, but alot of charred remains
If you take the trail to left/north at the trailhead sign, you can get the ATVs, Jeeps, it's tons of dirt trails over crazy hills
