We LOVED the Eagle’s Nest Trail! Just the right level of difficulty for my 5, 8, and 10 year old kids. The views were amazing and we visited in early April when the weather was just perfect. The best part was that the trail was not crowded at all, we only crossed paths with a 1/2 dozen people. (More on Kisva trail).

i cannot stress the importance of visiting here if you're in the area, the rangers are super nice and the trails are all extremely scenic. the whole place has an amazing vibe and its the BEST way to experience the natural beauty of sedona

Gorgeous place with something for everyone! There really isn’t a bad spot to hike, everywhere you go the view seems to somehow get better! Definitely worth spending a couple days checking it all out. The drive itself is beautiful.

Beautiful area. Expect to spend several hours hiking and wandering about. We arrived mid day so time was limited before sunset (December).

Pets are not permitted at Red Rock State Park in Sedona, AZ. If you want to hike with your dog there are hundreds of hiking trails in the national forest around Sedona.
There are tables. We were there Thursday June 21 and they had signs up saying no swimming or wading. Bring water and a hat and/or sunscreen. Be ready to walk.... it's primarily a walking and hiking park.
I wondered that too. I wonder how they get to the building.
Yes there is an entry fee I would recommend purchasing the state park pass so you can get into any State Park in Arizona for free some parks are limited on the weekends the Red Rock pass you can get into Grasshopper Point Crescent Moon for free and park on the Red Rock picnic areas the Red Rock pass is $40 for the annual the state park pass is $75 before a year just the basic standard pass they can be picked up at I think any State Park entry office the Red Rock pass can be picked up at the Sedona ranger station it is well worth it get into the parks for free I'm sure once you have these people visit more than 7 * any state park per year it even works on the Tonto Natural Bridge State Park Jerome State Park All State Parks
For anyone else who wants to know, you can get in before 8am. We went to the Cathedral Rock Trailhead and there is a machine where you can purchase a pass.
They now charge per person and national park passes aren't usable. It's a state park.
No
Not too sure about fish, but there's definitely water in the river. I did see a couple of people with fishing gear, however.
There are paved paths and a visitor center.
