Perfect spot for picnic, my favorite beach to go to, relax & see sunset. Sand does get hot when temperature reaches above 70°, do have proper pair of shoes, beach blanket & shade. If you plan to stay after sunset do take extra pair of jacket it will get windy & cold. There's public Porta Potty, suggest do take your own toilet paper or needed toiletries, rather be safe then sorry.

It didn't wow me, but it would a surfer! Big time surfing area. I don't think much for a hang out at the beach day if you want to swim or play beach volleyball. It was a busy area for sure where surfing occurs day and at night. Beautiful view though. And a very popular and swauve Taco Bell that serves drinks daily you can try.

Parked and took a hike up to local bluffs and Pedro point. About a 7 mile round trip. Great place to enjoy the sunset. The Moon raker restaurant has some excellent food. Ended the day with a relaxing breeze.

Leash makes it legal, I have seen many dogs running free with out a ticket as a result
You can always try your luck without paying for it. If you get a ticket, just contest it and have t void. The down side is you'll be wasting your time there while there.
La Playa, Devils Slide Tap Room, or Nick's at Rock Away Beach are all good choices to eat.
The Pacifica Pier would be a great place to have a wedding if you could rent it. I don't believe you can though. Otherwise there isn't really any room or any particular place you can hold a wedding unless you held it on the beach with not that many people. I would definitely go check it out before making plans.
If you have small kids maybe not, adults just to chill yes.
they dont sell crabs there that place is a beach park like for surfing but you can buy a crabs license and crabs snare maybe you can catch one but in montra couple miles away from that place there's a pier where you can buy live crabs fresh from the sea on the boat they sellin this is the address. 9 Johnson Pier, Half Moon Bay, CA 94019
Like 5% of it is cobblestone in the middle of the beach slightly north of the big hotel 80% is a medium grain sand and 15% of it is rocky but that is only by the south end where the boat docks are. These percentages change throughout the year as the tide changes.
No there's no camping at Linda mar beach and you can't light bonfires on the beach no more
Rockaway Beach yes people were fishing there every day that I was there a lot of them right off the beach at Rockaway and Pacifica Beach
Yes there are public restrooms in parking lot b and tacobell has restrooms behind their building .
Sure you do but you need a license
Yes the beach is open. Please follow social distancing protocols and wear masks per governor Newsom
There's a pay meter that you can scale to your choice how long...it's about $2 an hour
Hi, I have been to this beach several times. I'm not sure if crabbing is ok, I have never seen anyone crabbing so I'm not sure.
Glass beach near Fort Bragg but no longer can take glass from beach.
I don't believe there are any public grills there, so you would have to bring your own.
It's got everything you need
There are different hours for different Pacifica beaches and for different times of the year. Call PPD and they can tell you. Also the paid parking has different hours as well. Usually 8am to 8pm.
No but at Montara Beach Lighthouse not far from Pacifica there is a beautifully located hostel, with the most beautiful location on a cliff.
Waves are okay normally, but they do have Mavericks here every year. Very nice spot for families, but check wind speeds. We had to leave one weekend when there was 20mph winds
There should be no problem, just read the rules of the beach.
I'm quite sure it's banned on this beach now. Sorry.
No. The parking lot closes at 11:00 or midnight. You can't drive on the beach. There is camping park about 3 miles north. It sits directly above the Ocean. You can walk to shops & restaurants I believe there is a campground south (maybe 10 miles) in Princeton.
No parking over night & the beach closes at night
