Lake level is extremely low. As low as I have seen in 21 years living here. Generally they were allowed in a certain area only. Definitely need to call first. Also, invasive critters have now been detected and watercraft launching rules are even tighter. The carp are biting!

it's just that we do it on the weekends from 10am to 6pm ... maybe it will change since summer is coming. They will have more information when they pay when they enter.

I couldn't find any regulation that prohibits houseboats. But keep in mind that all boats must be out of the water by a certain time each day ( usually 30 min before dark) ....if you plan on launching and retrieving it same day it shouldn't be a problem just make sure it is 100% dry (no wet ropes, bilge is totally dry and any other compartments or else you won't pass the inspection at the gate) . Yes, the lakes are both open sunrise to sunset. In strong winds the water closes for launching but is still open to enjoy the park.
