Update: This place is still the best. Staff is super courteous and run the place with the utmost precision. Yard is always clean which is a huge plus in my book. Previous: Really nice facility. Staff is ALWAYS helpful and pleasant. Use this place a lot to dump my tanks and purchase propane. Probably the cheapest I've found in the SC Valley so it's worth the drive. Facility is always clean because it is so well maintained.

Lots of permanent residents. In the space next to ours, they were refinishing some metal pieces: sanding and painting. The park is very full and spaces are close together. There are lots of trees for shade, however. They have a very good internet wifi connection.

This place is packed with several long-time RVers. Make sure to make a reservation ahead of time. We were lucky to get a spot for an unexpected stop during a weekend due to problems on the RV we just acquired. We had to wait for a few hours until somebody checked-out. Otherwise, it's a decent somewhat rural park and they allowed us to have repairs done on our RV; the receptionist was hospitable and kind enough to provide us with some suggestions for RV repairs. They also provided a discount for our stay. Donuts and coffee at the office in the morning is complimentary; as well as some useful freebies. This park is worth coming back to.

We do have full hook-ups for RVs in our monthly sites, as well as in our overnight sites.
While the Castaic RV is actually an old KOA park, you need to have your own RV to stay there. No Cabins, renting camping or rentals.
Yes, 7 out of our 10 over night sites have built in concrete fire pits. The 3 other sites have access to metal fire pits that can be delivered to the site (free of charge) if requested.

Dont have to be just rv's to stay. Can be rv, trailer, even pickup truck with a shell.
We do have a fifteen year limit for our long term sites, so currently your RV must be made in 2006 or newer.
We do not allow sleeping in cars in our park. Only RV camping is allowed here.
