Inside the landfill, there's an area that converts methane into renewable energy. This was my project few years ago and I was the only woman among 300 construction workers in 3 shifts and was also the boss. It now supplies to Burbank and Pasadena which are municipalities within Southern California Public Power Authority (SCPPA). It has microturbines onsite with a total generating capacity of 9.2 MW.

This place is a expensive landfill. I paid $140.00 for 2 tons ! I usually pay $100 or less for 2 tons at the other landfills that i have been to. I only came here because i had a jobsite that close to this landfill.

It's a dump, they take anything. You just need to adhere to the laws bringing it there. I think it needs to be tarped or covered.
I dont work there, but im sure dirt is ok. I would call for pricing as far as what it costs. Remember California law states your landfill loads need to be tarped over. I'm not sure they will allow you to enter the dump without a tarp. Thank you for looking into the legal way of dumping. So many people just dump their stuff where ever they want these days.
