I took my aunt up there a month ago to look at getting a companion. We walked through and looked at all of the dogs and she fell in love with a little red one that was about a year and a half old. It turned out that that pup had been brought back after being adopted because he pee'd in the house. ☹ So my aunt got him for only $14.00. He'd already been microchipped, neutered and had his shots. He does great with my aunt and was potty trained within the first week.

If you're adopting an animal from the shelter it will be spayed / neutered before you pick it up and that is included in the adoption fee.

They definitely are NOT a no kill shelter, the animals can be put down in less than a week even if healthy and friendly depending on breed, crowding and other factors

Not sure if the animal shelter will give your pet his/her shots, but your local veterinarian will.

Thank you for your help, yes my dog is very old 15yrs, lived a great life, but no longer living a dog life. She was taken to your family Vet. Euthanized today, RIP, little Girl, she is in a much better place, pain free.
