I took my aunt up there a month ago to look at getting a companion. We walked through and looked at all of the dogs and she fell in love with a little red one that was about a year and a half old. It turned out that that pup had been brought back after being adopted because he pee'd in the house. ☹ So my aunt got him for only $14.00. He'd already been microchipped, neutered and had his shots. He does great with my aunt and was potty trained within the first week.
Yes, I adopted my dog from there last month. Need to pay $145 adoption fee, although the fee may vary - more for puppies, and/or less for the senior pets, and present a valid ID. Call them and let them know which pet you're interested in, and they'll let you know how much for adoption fee, and set up a visitation. If you find a particular pet on a website that you really want from this place, you'll want to act fast as the pet is given to a first come, first serve.
Yes, if the pet you want is already spayed or neutered you can take it home the same day. Bring a carrier or leash, pay the fees and you have a new family member!
