Is ok to bring dogs to the lake?

Can dogs swim in the lake? And if not here, who knows where dogs can swim in a lake? Thanks for any help.Eileen

I’ve lived next to the lake for 33 years and you have always been able to take your dog to the lake but it must be leashed at all times.And there are no areas of the lake that you can let your dog swim,no dogs are allowed in the water.

I was told 03/01/2020 that dogs AND humans are NOT allowed to swim or even put a toe into this lake because it it is a watershed lake!!!! Told me my dog shouldn't even have a drink from the lake!

I saw at least two couples with their dogs and one was was a lady cop. So it must be cool.
