Yes, the lakes are both open sunrise to sunset. In strong winds the water closes for launching but is still open to enjoy the park.

Does Castaic Lake swimming areas have public showers for rinsing off as of 7/10/2019 and are they functioning?
Is there a rental store for kayaks and paddle boats (stand up paddle boats)?is it allowed to these activities here?
