It was a stunning and breathtaking view of hiking trail. We did a short Tipsoo Lake loop trail first and moved on to Naches Peak Loop trail. It was a less 5 miles hike. The view throughout the trail was magnificent. When we hiked, it was a beautiful sunny late summer day, but Mt. Rainier was covered with clouds. Maybe next time to see a full view of beautiful Mt. Rainier!

One of my favorite hikes near Mt. Rainier! Every turn has a view of something, whether it be more tall trees, lakes, or the mountain itself! Like others have mentioned, I'd hike the trail clockwise instead of following the sign that says 'Naches Loop' with an arrow because you'll have the mountain at your back and tons of people will be hiking down. Great hike, great views, highly recommend this one!

I'm speechless! The forests in Washington are so healthy and full of life. It's breathtaking. In August, the temp at the top was in the 40's, so dress appropriately. There really are no words.

Great little hike on a portion of the PCT. For our part we didn’t complete the loop but an out and back to a pond/lake about a mile from the trailhead. Great place for our family to stop rest and head back. Our 8 year old did great as the trail has a manageable grade.
