Great scenic lake. Very calm and scene atmosphere. The roar of interstate in the valley gives a calming noise as well.

Beautiful place for snowshoeing and cross-country skiing. Not too many people, a lot of parking at 10 am weekend. There is a parking fee or snopark permit+ groomed trail permit.

The trailhead and trail is great for virtually everyone! It is an easy walk that goes on for miles and allows for great nature walks and Lakeside hiking.
