Awesome place when the water is high! Park is clean and enjoyable with great water access!

Such a beautiful place! You are close to the water and the mountains! However the gps doesn’t know where this place is.. so if you “arrive” in the middle of nowhere, just keep driving until you see the signs several miles down the road. There is minimal reception here so download offline maps to help by the way! The water is a bit muddy, but very warm and nice to swim in. The campground is very open and “neighborly”. I loved that there were also free showers here along with clean bathrooms. There are also several trails and you can find all kinds of berries! Would definitely come back here again.

Just got done camping here this morning. Had a great time. Great camping sites. We had tent camp #88 right next to the water. Definitely recommend a trip here.

Fun Fun Fun. We rent the group loop every couple of years for a week of family camping in July. We go on hikes, swim and fish. These photos are from the birthday hiking we did with ages range 5-73 and a couple of dogs. we paddle board but one thing is for sure you want to have a way to be on the water. either paddle board, boat, kayak etc because the swimming area and close to the shores are gross and muddy to step into. There is a nice playground near the swimming area but the swimming area is yucky. Beautiful place to camp
