I went to UMILA for a few years now. True fact, not easy to always get to talk to a rep right away, but they must be understaffed, why else 'wouldn't' they want to answer or get back? Once there, I spoke with such a nice and helpful person at the desk, her name is Judy. I was really pleased with her. She helped me and I felt so relieved as I have problems with memory. I then waited a short time and off I was for my brain MRI. I was assisted by tech Alica, and I must say that I met another very nice, empathetic person. Despite being in a claustrophobic narrow-tunnel like, I almost fell asleep, yet...I'm claustrophobic! I owe my good experience to these two women and the whole kind staff. Thanks again to Judy and Alica! Valentina P. April 18th 2022

STILL PANDEMIC CDC PROTOCOL SHOULD BE FOLLOWED. But they let patients come in go without checking their temperature. It’s too crowded . Some are even coughing inside that receiving/waiting room. I had an appt for my procedure but I was called after almost 2 hours.

Long wait, no communication, and the most unnecessarily painful and rough mammogram I've ever experienced - I've never had any pain getting them before. It was also absolutely freezing in the facility and when I was there in 2020 at the height of covid there was virtually no social distancing in the overcrowded waiting room. They clearly overbook and there is a long wait. The person doing the mammogram had zero bedside manner and showed little concern or care when I told her she was causing me a lot of pain (and I'm not a complainer, either-I've had a breast BIOPSY in the past and even that was less painful than this visit). At one point I yelped in extreme pain and just got a nasty attitude from the technician. I've waited over a year to post this review because it was honestly traumatic and I just wanted to forget about the whole thing. Go elsewhere for a mammogram if you can-there's an entire network in the city so even if you are referred here by your doctor or insurance, there are plenty of other better reviewed facilities in the same network for breast imaging in Los Angeles. The ultrasound tech was delightful though but this was honestly a nightmare mammogram experience for me to the point that I've put off my next one so long that it's now overdue.

I was in and out within an hour. It might have been because I made my appointment early in the morning. Everyone was really nice. I was prepared for the worst and was pleasantly surprised. Overall very happy with my experience.

Yes you can.. no need for an appointment for xray.
Yes. Also there is not validation for the UMI. Best to park at the streets.
Yes you can
You can park in the parking structure but they charge up to $12 for the day. I think it is about $3-4 every 20 minutes.
